This park was a last resort for us. We like to boondock but ran out of luck. We wound up getting the last RV site in the campground just days before they stopped accepting Passport America in June 2018. We got lucky…sort of.

The campground is nice and clean, and the staff is friendly, but the sites are extremely close together and most are back-in’s with trees on either side. There were lots of other ‘helpers’ around when I was trying to back in. I got in no problem but getting out was difficult. The neighbors across the way don’t have much room for their vehicles, which get in the way of anyone trying to get in or out.

Seems like most people live here seasonally, which is fine, but not much room for the transients, and I feel like they aim to keep it that way.

We had 3 bars Verizon LTE, 50 amp FHUs, and groceries/laundry are 1 mile away. It was helpful in a pinch, but we usually try to avoid places like this and won’t be back unless we’re out of options.

Actual date of stay November 2018- just saw the review below saying this may be day-use only now? This exact area is next to the Kofa NWR. You can camp in Kofa too, but we decided to stay on the BLM land closer to the main road. There are many areas and sites to choose from down MST&T. The roads are dirt, but they are manageable by any size rig- we had no trouble in our 35’ fifth wheel.

We had 3 bars Verizon LTE and plenty of sunshine for our solar panels.

Did not stay here, only dumped, but it is a campground with electric hookups, a few water spigots around the grounds, and a dump station. Convenient and easy for our 33 ft fifth wheel and would be fine for any size rig. The only issue is that the dump hole is just a hole with a metal piece about 5” down the hole, so we could use our normal L-shaped end piece. We just shoved the other end of our sewer hose down there and some black water wound up coming back up and splashing out of the hole- not great. We used a nearby water spigot to rinse the area, and to flush our tank- about 50 ft of hose. $5 honor box.
