This was a great campground during our 6night vaca. Perfect access to Sevierville and Pigeon Forge. Our kids loved the bounce pad. The camp store has the bare minimum with no food products and minimal hygrometer products. Walmart is only a few minutes away so that saved us.
No planned camp activities like other big name campgrounds but all the kids (and adults) seemed to be happy with the jump pad and single pickle ball court/basketball count.
We stayed at the fully paved pull-thru sites (CC1-4) and they were perfect for watching kids at jump pad and having plenty of privacy with minimal dirt/sand coming into our camper.

Great campground for a quick stop while traveling on 95. Large, paved pull-thrus with plenty of room between campers. On-site propane refill was easy. Bathrooms need updated but would work if you needed it.
We’d happily stay here again!

This new KOA was so clean with large sites! We stayed in the standard pull-thru and it was perfect for our 45ft 5th wheel.
Large, paved streets perfect for our kids to skateboard on and walk the dog.
We tried fishing in the pond but fire ants were bad and our hook/bait kept getting caught on the pond edge.
Wish the weather was warmer b/c the pool was so beautiful. Only one shower was open so that created a long line in the evenings.
We’d love to come back to the Ft Pierce West KoA in the future!

Beautifully manicured RV resort. The care and attention from the 6-8 staff members really shows. Laundry, pool and landscaping were all extremely clean.

What we found odd, and somewhat uncomfortable was the amount of security cameras and signs saying we were being recorded. Even though we were following all the rules, we always felt watched by the cameras and the employees living on-site.

Disappointed with the Wi-Fi. While it’s clearly stated the wifi isn’t for streaming Netflix, paying premium price ($125+/night with no shower/bathroom amenities) to have the most basic and lowest bandwidth screams the resort is trying to cut costs.

Sites were extremely tight! They tried to put us in a Full Hookup standard site but the tree roots were so bad we didn’t feel comfortable putting our rv in top of it. For a small fee, we ‘upgraded’ to a Super Site. Nothing Super about these. Not pull thru and we had to drive on pad to get out rv in just right.
Bathrooms were a big no-go. Extremely dark and small.

The pool was great and all residents were really nice. Mini golf was fun but all the water features were broken.

Not opposed to full-time residents, but some of these tenants have been there a very long time. Broken patio furniture, cars wrapped up in tarps, community cats/chickens and very old RVs give the place a trailer park feel.

This was our first Thousand Trails stay and we most likely won’t come back to visit this specific park.

Great resort with well-kept grounds. The premium pull-thru sites were all paved, long and had a great grass yard between each guest. 1/2 the park is dedicated to full-time/long-term residents. Children are prohibited from staying more than 2 weeks straight so definitely a more senior crowd.
Bathrooms were a bit outdated but very clean.
Pool was beautiful and so clean. The heaters weren’t working during our stay but it was nice just to relax by the water.

This was a great Gulf Shores RV resort for our family. While it was too chilly to enjoy the pool, the restrooms, rv pads, and club house were fantastic. We enjoyed the Thanksgiving potluck and all the employees were really nice. We’d love to come visit Island Retreat RV Park in the future.

This place was great. Nice, big, paved pull-through sights. Even though it rained most of our stay, our kids loved the Lazy River the first day we were there.
Bathrooms/showers could use a deep clean or complete remodel but they are still useable.
We wish we could’ve stayed longer and we’d love to come back!

This place needs a massive road and site overhaul. It did rain the first day we arrived but the next 3 days were overshadowed by a massive, muddy mess everywhere. Broken pavement, potholes filled with mud and standing water at every sight made a mess in our camper, especially with 3 kids and a dog. The game room was locked the entire time and when we asked an employee, she said she didn’t know why it was locked.
We didn’t get BBQ dinner delivered but liked that option just in case a guest needed dinner.
Bathrooms were outdated but clean.
Sites were tight; our mat touched our newborns pull thru gravel.
We did go into Memphis one day and the drive there was easy.
Overall I would not stay here again. Being a KOA, road/site maintenance shouldn’t be an issue.
