Confirmed by 6 users | Last reported on February 16, 2024It’s a good spot you are away from Miami to have a quiet location but close enough for day trips to Miami and the Keys. We have stayed here for the season and not only do not plan on coming back but never staying in an Encore/Thousand Trails park. We are so glad we didn’t dump money into a membership. This is by far a resort and more of a place to park. The hot tub is not ever hot, and apparently has not been hot for years. The pool heater works off and on and has been completely broken for a month. The park is in disrepair, almost everything needs fixing, paint, or to be just torn down. Not to mention the park office is full of rude people.

This is a great park! The staff is fantastic and very accomodating. There’s a great walking path that goes all around the park with plenty to do.
Our site didn’t have power so, they offered us the only other spot they had available which we liked. (Moved us to 27)
Like most RV’ers, it’s important to have a safe place for my pups. There is plenty of room to walk our dogs!
We will return!

I was in Miami for work for 4 months. This spot was chosen for its location to the office, proximity to daycare for the dog and facilities at the park.
-decent fenced off leash area. good community of dog owners. we had daily play dates and walks. (see pic)
-huge grass area for lounging.
-nice trail circling the park, which lots of people walked, biked or ran.
-had 5 different sites during my stay, which is good and bad. no one enjoys the relocation process, but I did enjoy the various unique spots.
-always felt like a little oasis in miami. location is surrounded by a lot of agriculture farms. yet, grocery and liquor stores are within a 5 mile radius. it is next to railroad tracks but they are retired; leaving a very peaceful place.
-less than 5 miles away there is a great daycare facility and my dog loved going there everyday. (see pic)
-lots of big rigs and they escort you to your site.

This park is in a great location for visiting Everglades National Park, located near Homestead, FL. The park is in a nice safe area in a beautiful (think palm tree farms and citrus orchards) and quiet agricultural area. It is also a peaceful place to stay while visiting Miami. The sites are ok, some are tight with trees, but it is well shaded. There are many seasonal campers here. The pool is beautiful with an old-Miami retro feel. Super cute. Grocery stores are five minutes away. It is an Encore park, so Encore/TT discounts can apply. This rate reflects our discount of 20% off, as we hold a Thousand Trails zone pass membership. We would stay here again when crossing across from Naples and visiting the Everglades again.

Getting to this park took a little bit of time because we were coming down south from Orlando and we had to get close to Miami before coming over. Nothing terrible, just time and some busy roads.
The park itself is great and our site was easy to get into. It was all grass in the site and even though we just had a downpour as we pulled in, we were able to get leveled and all hooked up. FHU sites and 50amp were great.
Besides the actual RV sites, the park was great - had a ton of amenities and activities to do. Lots of space for kids to play, pool, dog park, the best mini golf we have ever seen, etc.
We look forward to coming back soon!

This is a nice park, but only for very small RVs. We have a 37 ft fifth wheel, and it took us 45 minutes to get wedged in between two trees. One of our slide outs ended up being just inches away from one of the trees, and we were lucky to make it fit. The good news is the park is very pretty once you do get settled. There is a nice walking/biking trail that goes all the way around the park, it is almost a mile around, I think (3 laps = 45 minutes at a brisk pace).
It's kind of out in the middle of nowhere, there is no shopping or restaurants that are particularly close, but there is a great Cuban place (El Rinconcito) about 15 minutes away.

Had a nice stay at this Encore resort. As a member of TT and the Trails collection my rate was $20 per night. Check in was simple and they will escort you to your site. My site was grass with a concrete patio. Saw only 2 bath houses/toilets but they were clean fairly updated and close enough. The pool is very nice. The whole CG is pretty level with mostly paved roads. There is a multi use path that is also paved. Staff was friendly as well. One section has many more trees than the section I was in as I asked for a site with a view of the southern sky for satellite (which was able to get). My site was nice and wide so was able to park the tow car next to my RV. All three carriers I had with me for cell service were only 3 bars but service was screaming at 50+mbps down and 20+ up.

First, this is pretty expensive for what you get, but that looks typical for this area.
***If you don't need sewer hookups I would opt for the water/electric sites along the stretch where you first enter the park on the left. Looks like these are mainly tent sites, but they put us here and we were grateful! You're surrounded by trees, it's private, and waaaaay more spacious than the main RV park. Be warned that it is pretty unlevel due to all the tree roots. Water pressure and electric hookups were fine. While the other area was packed and cramped, we enjoyed peace and nature.
We didn't use any of the amenities so can't report in that.
This park was our launching point into the Keys. Cheaper than most of what we found in the Keys, but it's a bit of a hike from here. 2 1/2 hours to our destination at Bahia Honda SP.

We are members of Thousand Trails/Encore so we only paid the $22.60 nightly resort fee. Stayed 2 nights. Full hookups (50amp, water, sewer). Site 79 was level but took a little work getting into since it had trees and tree branches but nothing too tricky if you pay attention. The roads are very narrow and many cars/trucks are forced to partially park in the road making it even tougher to maneuver as you get in and out of the park.
The amenities are amazing at this resort and that's why it deserves the "resort" label. The pool is enormous. The mini golf is better than many professional mini golf courses. And there are plenty of courts, playground and other play areas.
The dumpsters quickly filled up and were actually overflowing with people leaving trash bags next to the dumpster. And the area around the dumpster smelled like sewage.
They just completed a new Amazon locker style mailbox system. Looks pretty slick although we didn't use it.
The row we stayed on had a number of full-time residents. The rigs were pretty dated but the people were very friendly. We stopped and spoke with many of our neighbors.
The roads in and out of the RV park are kinda small off the main highway with some overhanging trees, but the roads aren't super busy so it wasn't a problem navigating.
