Small RV Resort.
Registration: go directly to Clubhouse - office. They take checks or cash. Cash: you do get a discount. Book early for premium spots as people come back every year. WIFI good; for work used a booster as well - download speeds fast above 5 most time 7. Premium Lots in the upper portion of the park are relatively void of the San Joaquin Rd noise. I am in a pull thru - due to late arrival/booking. Pull thrus at the entrance to the park on the San Joaquin Road side. Pull through has road and other noises during the day. Noise settles in the evening but starts again in the early AM. The site is gravel, large rocks. The spots are large in comparison to Desert RV next door. No complaints, I have full sun for solar. Dry camp lots are right next to the main road. People are very friendly here. Laundry: $2 per load wash or dry; 24/7 laundry time available. The park is well kept. Trails in the back of the park. Clubhouse has library and activities for people.

This is a first out stop to get power to refrigerator and water before a trip. Front staff very friendly and accommodating. It's a park that has alot of full timers who don't take care of their area or have really old rigs. For one night, I dropped in - it was fine. Overnight charge: $65 plus $5.00 for electricity. I came back from trip and cleaned my tanks there for $20. They use their own hoses and they do all of the set up - except to your rig. Park is also in the flight path of the Harry Reid Airport but I didn't think the noise level was that bad. The rest rooms were super clean.

The Longhorn Ranch is tucked off the highway with The Wind River behind it. It has alot of trees, good water pressure, quiet location, and one mile from town. Front desk is friendly. Laundry facilities along with propane and a small general store is on site.
If I had my choice of KOA in town and this RV park, I choose this one. You can't get a better setting. Sites are spread out with a small dog park (not much to it).

I stayed during the mid week so it was pretty empty and quiet. Site 269. The lower part against the hill was perfect. Lots of hiking in the park. Great facilities and amenities. During the weekend its party central with young families and large parties of family and friends. Its a beautiful property. Activities outside of the park are abundant.
