Restroom/showers an unexpected nice surprise
Most recent stay was 8/02/16 / 8/03/16 - I'm "late" in posting my review ~ We camp in a "Tear Drop” style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area

We were across the road from the restroom/shower building, which was set up with 12 unisex private rooms each with shower, sink, and toilet ~ Like your bathroom at home! ~ All rooms have tiled floors, knotty pine walls, good ventilation with modern updated fixtures. Very clean and well taken care of [saw them cleaned twice per day morning and evening] only wish they had more hooks for your towel and clothes, a bench would have been nice, and rubber floor mat for wet feet when you exit the shower~ add all that and it gets a 5 star.

Campground itself is rustic [we’re in Wyoming and is expected] very clean and well maintained w/gravel interior roads and level site pads w/ a picnic table and fire ring among the trees for needed shade and sparse grassy areas except nice grassy area for tenters next to creek. Some cabins for rent, plus a small lodge style motel. No swimming pool or onsite activities for children. It’s called a resort, but really is a nice RV Park and campground that is close to small quaint western style town [Dubois] w/good restaurants and shopping. It could be a base camp – at lower rates – for the Grand Teton National Park and Jackson WY recreation area; be prepared for at least 1 ½ - 2 hour travel time.

We don't stay at RV parks much but we had family visiting from out of town and needed somewhere we could park that had a lodge / cabins that they could stay in. This park was a real treat. If all RV parks were like this we might stay there more often.

We chose a riverside spot and were treated to a gorgeous view with an expansive site and neighbors a comfortable distance away. The sites have full hook ups some are back in and some are pull-through. They have picnic tables and fire-rings with wood on sale at the camp store.

The staff are very friendly and keep the place immaculate. The facilities include laundry, showers, a central fire-pit and pagoda, weekly entertainment and an adjoining lodge with clean and simple rooms.

The charming town of Dubois is just 3 miles away. The surrounding scenery is great with a few hikes and small lakes that you can kayak on.

We had AT&T 4g coverage without a booster. Verizon was just 3G. The campground WiFi was not usable for us.

We almost never stay at commercial campgrounds, but couldn't find a state park in the area. This campground confirmed our sense that commercial campgrounds are tight. We had a spot in the trees in the center of the campground and had other campers close-by all around. There was a wedding at the campground the weekend we were there, and this contributed to a LOT of noise and quiet hours not being observed.

The campground is very well kept and very clean, and the restrooms are also nice and clean. All sites have water, sewer, and electric, and many are pull-through (as ours was). We will be heading back to the area in a few weeks and will stay at this same campground, but we will upgrade to a waterfront site. Those are very tight side to side, but at least they have a river and not another camper in front of them.

Folks in the office were very friendly and helpful. There is free wifi at all of the sites, and cell service was strong.

We booked this stay as a pit stop before our journey out to the Grand Tetons. We were able to reserve online and I would highly recommend this. When we checked-in we saw a lot of people leaving due to the park being full. The price was pretty high but this was a full-hook up park and very well-maintained. We picked a pull-through site so that we could get out easily. Although we were surrounded by RVs, we weren't packed in so tight that you felt your neighbors were able to look into your space. The views from this park are pretty incredible. Although your space is pretty much in the open (with the exception of a few trees), you are surrounded by the mountains. You definitely feel like you are a rancher in the wide open plains. What we really enjoyed about this park were the accommodations. There was a laundry facility (you had to pay with quarters) and bathrooms. The best part was the private free showers! The showers were in their own rooms by the bathrooms and very clean. Everything seemed very well taken care of. There was a pond and a river nearby, as well as stables for horseback riding. We would definitely come back but probably not just for this park. It's a great pit stop but pretty far from town and other things. They have a cafe area but I would recommend stocking up on groceries before coming to the site. The only thing that was really odd about our spot (and most of the spots around us) was that the picnic table was on the wrong side. We weren't able to have our door or awning face the picnic table. This would have been a pain if we were staying for more than just one day. Cell/signal was a little spotty but usable.

Very easy check in, every one seemed very friendly. All sites are gravel but no problem getting level. Right along the Wind River, with some sites back up to river. Couple of miles from town. Bathrooms are clean. A total of 7 washers & 6 dryers in 2 different laundries. Has a quaint motel with campground, and horse rides for those who haven't had enough bouncing around on their "backsides" from driving. Can do Grand Tetons & Yellowstone from here. FHU with cable, picnic table with a really nice fire pit.

We stayed 5 nights while we explored Grand Tetons NP, both Dubois and Lander Wyoming and the local rodeo. Checkin went smoothly. The park has full hookups, Wifi, cable (17 channels,) bathrooms, showers, trash dumpsters, etc. Friendly staff at the front desk. The Wifi signal strength is pretty weak in site 37, but I used a Winegard Wifi Range Extender to get email, look at maps, etc. This would not be sufficient for streaming. Bathrooms and showers are clean. While we were there the Wind River was very high with rain and spring melt. Our back-in site was on the edge of the river which made for an interesting view. This park is also at the edge of the 'Badlands'. The park was very quiet at night - just how I like it. Trail rides with horses are offered, but I didn't have time for that.

Verizon Cell service is just good enough to make calls while in the park, but 3 miles toward Dubois has only roaming service.

We made reservations for this park ahead of time. It was close to the quaint little town of Dubois. We chose this park because of its proximity to the Grand Tetons. However, it’s too far away to commute daily to the Tetons. Staff was nice. Facilities were very clean. The grass had been mowed. It was a little confusing navigating to our campsite, but in the end, we pulled through an empty campsite to get to our site. Sites are gravel. It was next the Wind River and very quiet.

Stayed one night on way to Grand Teton in an RV . For a private campground, the sites have room and trees in between, some back up to the Wind River. Views of foothills, rock formations, and the river runs through. Clean, level gravel sites, grassy area with trees and picnic table. Large single, spotless bathrooms with showers. Large fenced dog area, full hook ups. Worth the price, equal to a KOA and much better than one. Friendly staff.

Paid $54 a night for a 4 night stay. Full hookups (50amp, water, sewer). Monster sized RV sites. We stayed in spot 51 near the river.

We didn't have prior reservations for the Tetons and all the popular boondocking spots were taken, so we ended up using Dubois and the Longhorn Ranch as our home base for traveling back and forth into the national park. It's an hour+ drive but it's beautiful through the mountains.
