The sites here are pretty big and nicely paved. There are no views of the canyon but it's a quick drive to the overlooks. There are a lot of stickers on the dirt parts of the sites so you have to watch out.

A quick note on the cell coverage if you need to work here - there is no T-mobile, AT&T, and Verizon. We had roaming/extended on AT&T and Verizon and it was very slow.

We camped out here with for the Xscapers 2017 Convergence. Our spot was fairly quite and away from the road. There were large groups camped out here for the RV show in January but you can still find some solitude. The town of Quartzsite is pretty packed this time of year.

We enjoyed our stay here. The pool and facilities are great. Lots of friendly campers and staff. It's right off the freeway which is a positive if you are looking to get out and explore the area. The downside is that it's right off the freeway and traffic noise is 24/7.

The sites are a bit dusty and could use some concrete upgrades. Plenty of activities from horse shoes to billiards and pickleball.

This a classic Northwest beach campground. Great beach and tide pools to explore. As one review noted here it can be tight and it's popular spot so don't expect to roll in on a summer weekend and score a prime spot. Some spots have awesome views of the Ocean.

My parents winter here and love it. This is our third visit and we have come to really appreciate it as well. Nice open desert space around the park makes for great views and easy access to BLM land for ATV, Jeeps, and hiking. Very friendly and the WIFI works great when it's not too overloaded with folks using it.

We stayed here after crossing the border from Tecate, Mexico. It was very close and nice stop over. We stayed in the south section with full hookups. The north section without sewer didn't look as nice. We liked the rolling hills. Cell phone coverage was bad but we got decent coverage behind the adult pool.

Waldo Lake is one of the largest natural lakes in Oregon. With over 100 feet visibility, it's 2nd only to Crater Lake in purity. The lake is closed to all motor boats which makes it incredible for paddle sports and small sailboats. I've been coming here for over 40 years with my family and consider a very special place. The only downside is that the season is very short (opens in June and closes at the end of September). The mosquitoes can be be fierce in June and July.

Of the three campgrounds (Shadow Bay, Islet, and North Waldo) North Waldo is our favorite. Unfortunately the sites suitable for RVs are limited and were occupied so we stayed at Islet a mile away which is still very nice. The price is a little steep for no services but the campgrounds are very well maintained. If you score a spot on the lake the price will seem like a bargain.

The hiking and moutain biking are awesome up here. Cell service with Verizon and AT&T is spotty to non-existent.

We stayed in the overflow area which we ended up liking more than the main area. We chose one of the busier weeks of the 49er Encampment but it wasn't too bad in the overflow area. Our solar was cranking so we only ran our generator a few times to cool off after a couple of 95 degree days.

No internet on Verizon but extended network voice.

I would agree with all the positive reviews here but add that my bike was stolen here. I had it locked on my Jeep hitch rack but they cut the Krypotonite cable and removed from the frame adapter. According to mall security and a local bike shop, this happens a lot here. I probably should have also had U locks but security said they will also steal parts. Beware.

Believe the bad reviews of this place. Crowded, cramped, expensive, horribly maintained... besides that it's awesome;)
