My parents winter here and love it. This is our third visit and we have come to really appreciate it as well. Nice open desert space around the park makes for great views and easy access to BLM land for ATV, Jeeps, and hiking. Very friendly and the WIFI works great when it's not too overloaded with folks using it.

Salome/Hope, AZ? Where the heck is that? Well, kind of out in the middle of nowhere. Don't blink when you drive through. This campground, though, was a surprising little find. It is listed as a 55+ resort on some other sites/apps, however, there is not an age restriction here. Not for yourself and not for your rig. A refreshing, and rare, find for RV resorts in AZ. Stock up on groceries before getting here. I think the closest store is an hour away. There is a gas station right across the entrance to the resort. Easy in and out at the resort. The sites are very wide and some of them have really nice vegetation. They are hard packed gravel with a picnic table at each site. We arrived after office hours and they leave the entry open, so you can go in, place some money (cash or check ONLY) in an envelope, pick a site, get some zzz's and be on your way the next morning. Or, do as we did, and go up to the office and speak to Bruce (SO NICE!) the next morning and decide to stay awhile. This park is quiet! Crunching gravel while we went for our after dinner walk seemed like we were breaking quiet hours law. Everybody was so nice. They have planned activities everyday. If you own an ATV, UTV, or dirt bike, the trails leave right from the resort. Almost everyone there had an off road vehicle of some type and they seemed to have lots of organized trail rides. There are two hiking/walking paths that start at the resort. One is 3/4 mile long, and the other is 4 miles, one way. You can receive your mail here. They have a really cool 18 hole golf course right behind the resort available to patrons of the resort. We also walked out there late at night to gaze at the stars. It was beautiful! The laundry facility is very nice. There is a coin operated vehicle wash onsite. They also have the largest assortment of books and DVDs I have come across. Everyone there was very respectful of each other and of quiet hours. No troublemakers here. The bummer was cell service. There is a tower right across from the resort, but we couldn't pull more than one bar of 3G, even with our Weboost Drive 4G-X. How frustrating! We can SEE the tower! So, even though we had planned on staying a week, we had to move on since we rely on solid cell service for our business. :( I wouldn't hesitate to stay here, again, if we can amp up our cell boosting tech. The monthly rate is very reasonable!

Cute little RV park in the middle of nowhere, Arizona. We stopped for a quick overnight while transiting back to Nevada. Definitely resupply before arrival. There's not much around and the fuel station across the road has long since closed.

Super friendly staff and nice facilities. The grounds are extremely well-kept. Sparkling clean bathrooms and generous common areas. Wide lanes and easy access for large rigs. The sites are level and a fairly standard spacing for an RV park. We were fortunate in not having neighbors so it felt like we had more space for our short visit. There are no tables or grills at the individual sites which I generally like to see at this price point. The road noise was tolerable.

We got a good laugh at seeing a cell tower across the street and thinking we'd have a strong signal. Nope. Just the slightest, unusable trickle on Verizon and AT&T anyway. I had a meeting to call into so upon checkin they suggested the best place to get a strong connection on their wifi was to be in the main building. I still struggled immensely to connect to begin with and then stay connected even in that scenario which was frustrating, obviously. We didn't have a booster then so I'm not sure if it would have been manageable to continue working with one.

They have a nice little dog park and our boy was happy to finally stretch his big legs off-leash. I like that they offer a tent camping area as well which many RV parks don't. That's a big bonus in a remote area with few options since I camp in all the varieties of ways -- RV, auto, and motorcycle. It's nice to know this place is here for any of my adventures.

We enjoyed the group activities especially bingo and the lapidary shop. Salome and Brenda are the last stop for groceries and fuel. If coming on I-10, take the Vickburg exit and get fuel at the Pride truck stop. The Centennial & Salome exits are gravel roads. Cell phone on Verizon is more reliable.

The previous reviews of Ramblin’ Roads RV Park are accurate. It is one of the nicest RV parks in the area. Well organized, well maintained and plenty of activities. After traveling in the Southwest it became our choice as our winter home for 9 years. We had a seasonal spot and made seasonal friends. All that changed in 2016. Politics reared its ugly head and the park evolved into a far right enclave with political flags and clothing, including flags and hats displaying the “f” word. No doubt critics will say we were “thin skinned” and should have ignored it. However, we did not impose our politics on others and hoped others would do the same. Unfortunately management did not nip it in the bud and by 2020 it was to the point that we sadly decided to not return.

Nice people. Site was clean and level. Bathroom facilities were nice and clean. No cell service for verizon. Wi-Fi was bad. Have to travel a few miles down the road to get either. It has a central fire pit but wish it had one on each site. Nights were chilly when we were here.

Easy to find if you’re heading south on 72; look to your right when you reach the stop sign, and there it is, across the road. Palm trees make it look like an oasis in the desert, which isn’t far from the truth. There’s nothing nearby. Like, nothing. But the campground itself is clean and quiet, with gravel sites that are surprisingly wide and somewhat level. Great stop on the way from Lake Havasu to Phoenix/Mesa if you don’t stay in Quartzsite. Host is pleasant and friendly, and gave us recommendations for restaurants within 15 miles or so. Only stayed for one night, so didn’t use the amenities. Starlink worked without any problems.
