Very nice campground. We got in late and the owner was totally accommodating. The campground is very, very clean and well kept. We didn't use the shower facilities b/c we have an RV. All sites are pull through which was great. The Wifi connection was the bomb. Great overnighter!
We loved this little campground! The host was awesome and very helpful. The campsites are so clean with very little tree limb debris. The sites are paved and nice and flat w/gravel area around the fire pit which was cleaned out as was the grill. We noticed all the sites were equally as clean. They also have great wooden decks on the water/river sides with aluminum picnic tables. And sites are a great distance from each other all with beautiful views of the water. The restroom facilities were open which was great!! We will be back for sure!!
This is a nice park in many ways but had a couple of issues. There is no WiFi to speak of and the dump station for the campground we stayed in was full with no cap - gross. We had to drive to the other campground to use their dumping station. Also, I went to buy ice at the front gate ($3) and the ice machine was empty. Told the attendant and she gave me a clipboard with paper to fill out for a refund for the $3 cash I just gave her. Temp was in the 90s...a bit much. I would have just donated the $3 but she took a very long phone call so I sweated it out. Doubt we'll stay here again.
We stayed for five nights in our RV and enjoyed our stay. The sites are pretty close to each other (back in sites) so that wasn't optimal. The view of the lake was fantastic and swimming was an option. The trail around the lake was nice as well. They told us they are short staffed due to Covid so be prepared for restrooms/showers closed etc. Would definitely stay here again.
We overnighted in our RV and found this campground to be nice. Went for a quick hike - the trails need some cleanup but we're guessing they are short staffed due to Coronavirus. It is very lush and natural and when we're through the virus, the Nature Ctr, Restrooms, Showers, etc. will be open making it a great option.
We stopped on our way to Texas for one night and it was perfect. The owner was great and let us park our U-Haul in the empty spot next to us. Restrooms were closed due to Covid but everything else was great. Very accommodating and easy in and out. Would definitely stay here again!
