Staff was wonderful! Food was great! Very popular. There were at lease 4 other campers staying besides me plus several cars. Parking space was fairly level. What I was not expecting was the noise. The Union Pacific Rail Yard is less than a mile away and you can hear the train sounds all night long! Surrounding flatlands provide no sound barriers. Squealing brakes and whistling rails; loud bangs I presume from coupleing cars and the train whistles start around 4:30 am. You better have some white noise. I could even hear some of it over the sound of my generator. Which I was given permission to use. Common courtesy for my neighbors of course in regards to quiet hours. Which seemed to be a joke given the train sounds. The good news is you can't hear the highway traffic. Lol! If you can take the noise it's a great place. I guess the residents are used to it.

This is a beautiful rest area. If you look at the photos posted for the Westbound rest area they are identical. Awesome exhibits inside and restroom was spotless. Some pretty good vending machines too. The lot is behind the building and it is huge. Pretty level side to side. Not front to back. Although it wasn't drastic enough for me to pull out blocks. Not bad to begin with. I was there on a Tuesday night. The lot really began filling up with trucks later in the evening. I discovered the spaces are a bit tight. I was wondering why they were parking so close to me and realized we were each within the lines. You won't be putting slides out. Truck noise doesn't usually bother me but I have to say this place was a challenge. Very busy all night. The air brakes made me jump once or twice. But overall I would stay here again, I'd park at the end of the row to avoid being sandwiched. I was told I could pull to the side if I wanted to as long as I didn't impede the trucks. It didn't look any more level so I stayed put. Wish I had moved. Lol!

With so many Walmarts taking away this option, I was surprised that they not only still allow overnight parking but they have also set aside a designated overnight parking area for RV's and trucks. It's the lot about halfway between Walmart and Sam's. There is a sign directing you to the spots and they have been freshly painted so you know which ones to use. They aren't perfectly level but close. When I asked how many nights they allow, the employee said as long as you leave and come back it's fine. I stayed 2 nights with no issues. I was there mid week so only a handful of RV's and a couple of trucks came through while I was there. The only issue at all was a sign holder on the corner. He never approached the RV's and didn't bother anyone but he did have a couple of barky dogs. He always left when it got dark. I had 5 bars on T Mobile. Some road noise but I have a high tolerance for that and it didn't bother me. Would definitely stay again.

This was a last-minute stop after leaving Death Valley, I will say it's difficult to find someone in the office at times. Which was the case when I arrived. I went to the registration in the Inn and all of the staff there were friendly and extremely helpful. Even called the park manager to confirm my stay. They post all pertinent information on the door of the trailer that serves as the office. Including available sites. Thanks to the girls in the Inn check in was a breeze. I had accidentally parked in 2A right next to the office and just stayed there since it was one of the available sites. All pull throughs. Full hookups. Wi-Fi was awesome the first 2 days. Last 2 days it was so slow I used my hotspot. 4 bars 5G on T Mobile. Laundry is a public facility managed by the park. Super clean and never very busy. Restrooms and showers are some of the best I've seen. Immaculate! After my second night I was approached by a staff member. She had an upset guest and asked if I would be willing to move because their rig wouldn't fit in the only available space. Of course I said yes. And actually wound up with a much better view of the mountains. C Row has the best views. She was so grateful she refunded one of my nights. This place is clean, quiet, friendly, and just a few blocks from Main Street. It's right on the 95 but I rarely noticed road noise. One block to the Dollar store. Decent prices with everything you need including groceries. I would definitely stay here again.

A little rough around the edges but it fills the need. Gravel lot. A lot of pull throughs. Some level, some not. Did not use the facilities but I used the dump station. You can't flush or fill but there is rinse water. Dump portal is easy access. Beautiful views and fairly easy walking to everything in the village across the street. When you cross the street the Visitors Center is to the right past the gas station. You have to show your park pass or receipt and I.D. for a free map and brochure. Stickers are available and cheaper than the general store. General Store and shops are on the opposite end of town. As others have said, not much in the way of groceries and a 20oz coke was $3.99, Pricey. They did have a couple of Tees that were 2 for $28 or ! for $16. Pretty nice for the price. Quiet camp. Make sure you put your receipt on the post at your site. Host does check. There is also a generator free zone by the entrance. I had 5 bars on T Mobile but the Hotspot was super slow and sketchy. Dropped the connection a lot. I would stay again.

I paid 120.00 for 3 nights. Plus - Taxes, Processing Fee, Invoice Fee for a total of 135.98. Just be aware. Also the first place I've stayed where you have to pay extra for the showers. 5 dollars for 15 minutes. You have to purchase tokens with a credit card. The lady in the office gave me 4 tokens and says she does that for all of her "overnighters." They do have quite a few permanent residents. I used my own shower partly out of preference and the fact that the showers were being painted. Yes. I was given tokens for showers I couldn't use. Lol! But brownie points for making improvements. I returned them before I left. The laundry room is large with all front load heavy duty washers and driyers. Credit card only. Wash is 6.00. Dryer is 1.00 for every 10 minutes. The restrooms and laundry weren't the cleanest but not the worst I've ever seen. I love that the have wheeled laundry carts and a folding table. The park is basically a gravel lot. Ineresting pads. One concrete pad for the front tires, separate one for the back tires. Almost perfectly level. The dump pipe was quite a ways from the water and electric and I had to back up to reach it when I was getting ready to leave. Not a huge deal but is is also a bit high. I was just taking a break from the road and actually got a stomach bug the first night so I didn't check out any other amenities they may have had. Park was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly. Cute chihuahua office assistant. They parked me right next to the building which was great sinceI had to do laundry. Nothing fancy but good for overnight. Wifi was great on my laptop but a bit slow on my phone. I would stay here again.

Make sure you check in with Security when you get here. They were great. And felt safe knowing they were patrolling. Stay is free but they will take your vehicle info and I.D. and give you a pass for your dash. Pass is for 24, 48, or 72 hours. So I presume a 3-day limit. From the entrance, the back lot to the left, the east side, is the most level. It's also designated RV parking on the map on your pass. 5 bars on T Mobile. I connected to their Guest Wi-Fi, but my hotspot was faster. Beautiful facility. Nice views. Friendly staff. If I didn't have an appointment I would definitely stay longer.

I will say if you don't like trains don't stay here. They don't bother me at all. Large paved level parking lot. It was a bit hard to spot because I got there after dark. The office was closed so I went off the reviews and stayed the night. I backed in to the corner farthest from the building. The next day I apologized for presuming and everyone I talked to was super nice and said no problem. I asked if I could stay a second night because I had not seen the sights yet. They said it was fine but they were staging the Christmas parade on Saturday and they would need the space. There is a fabulous walkway/park that starts behind the visitor's center and ends at Standing on the Corner park.Several awesome displays and sights along the way. Everyone I met and dealt with was so nice. A real small town. Just be aware that while I was there they were putting up construction fencing around the dirt lot adjacnt to the paved lot and the gentleman told me they are building a Library. So expect some construction as well. Stayed 11/16 - 11/17. Shoulda stuck around for the parade!

As other reviews have said there is quite a bit of noise. Personally, I can sleep through just about anything. That's because they cater to trucks. They recently opened a new truck lot which was packed. I have never been asked to pay to stay and have stayed here several times over the last 6 months. On site is a casino, a travel store, and it looks like they are building a new restaurant. Parking lot is on a slight incline so not level. But close enough for one night, I think. Some rigs use levels, some don't. They also have large trash cans around the lot. I don't use the dump station. $25.00. Made the mistake of getting propane. They don't post the price and I found out at the register that it was $7.00 a gallon. Everywhere else was $3.99 so I just presumed. Never again! Their coffee shop in the casino has terrific steak and eggs. Actually, all of their food is great and reasonably priced. Great service. The convenience store is pricey, but they are taking advantage of their location like a lot of places do. It is my go-to spot when I have my RV worked on or serviced in Boulder City. I will definitely be back.

Not your typical rest area. More like a circle drive with 2 pull outs. The first was just big enough for our class C and I still double checked to make sure I wasn't blocking the drive. The second spot was bigger but did not look at all level. 2 picnic tables and nothing else. Some trash on the ground but not so much it was disgusting. Felt very exposed and uncomfortable here. Very close to the road. Not a lot of traffic but in the middle of nowhere, very dark, and far from any services. Only reason we stayed was because of storms with dangerous winds. Quiet night. No one bothered us. But would not be my first choice. We did at least have cell service. 2 to 3 bars on T Mobile. Found out the next day that the westbound rest area, which is accessible from either direction, is a bit larger and slightly more removed from the road shoulder. I'd choose that one over this one. It's basically just a pull out.
