There are several restaurants and opportunities to gamble here.
We paid 15.00 for a permit to dry camp. There were a lot of vehicles idling and the sound of our generator running all night was nothing in comparison.
This is a casino and travel center that allows RV parking for up to a few nights. There are bathrooms in either the casino or travel center along with showers for $12 (a/o 1/7/19). No hookups but if you are ok without them it’s a clean and safe place. I stayed for a few nights and found there’s a hiking and bike trail behind the casino. Not a camping experience per se but not a bad spot if you’re taking a break on s long trip.
RV spots are right between the casino and gas station. Great sub place in the gas station. Huge open parking lot with pull through designated RV spots. There’s a very long paved hiking/biking trail right up the hill behind you which was great to walk along. Casino security rides around the parking lot as well. Stayed here one night, and on the way out of Vegas stayed a second!
We stayed here for 3 nights in a 44 ft fifth wheel. There is extended stay parking for RV's in between the casino and the sub shop. If that gets full there is extended stay parking that can accommodate semi trucks and rv's on the other side of the parking lot. We felt very safe here and there was only occasional noise of bikers coming into the lot. It is a very convenient location to the Hoover Dam and Vegas. He unhooked our fifth we while we did daytime stuff around town and had no problems. We will stay here again.
You are not allowed to stay here in your personal vehicle anymore “due to a theft” if you stay here you must be in an RV, myself and a few others sleeping in their cars were made to leave by a cop roaming the parking lot on a golf cart shining a light into all of the cars windows to see if there were people.
Pulled in and slept with no hassles. I wouldn’t stay there if I was visiting the area though.
We stayed overnight once before when traveling from AZ to OR in our RV. A bit noisy as most truck stops are. Now charge a parking fee for overnight of $10. You need to pay at the travel center before parking. We found the lower lot to be somewhat more level.
Stopped here to dump the RV. Expected a fee, but did not expect to pay $25 for it! We did not camp there.
Rv parking, truck parking, propane, dump station. Propane prices are high, dump station is $25 and separate rv parking area is on a pretty steep slant so getting level may not be possible. Just an okay place.
After traveling across the country, our original camping plans fell through once we arrived to Nevada. In a panic, we started calling every place in Vegas for availability, with no luck due to NFR week. We found this rest stop Casino and the security guard was so kind. Parking was free and the gas station had $12 showers, or $19 for team showers. They have food there and the casino also has a Sbarro. It wasn't as noisy as I expected and there was no rush for us to leave. We felt very safe and now know where we can park if we are ever in the area again.
And yes, we were able to use our generator and pull our slide out.
