So beautiful here! Very easy walk around.
Wow! What a beautiful drive! Lots of construction at the very top, so nothing to see there. Bit when it's done, it will be beautiful. Looks like they are building a skywalk perhaps? Nice drive anyway. They shuttle you the last 4 miles due to construction. I less you get there after 3. Then you can drive all the way. It was 15 per person, not per car, to enter.
Couldn't find this particular sign, but there is one just inside Pikes Peak park.
Sign said it should be open. 2PM Friday in Sept. Locked up tight
12 dollars per person, not per car, to get in.
Really cool walk through.
Nice area. Not much around. All hiking trails. That's about it. Lots of parking.
Absolutely amazing! Do the loop trail! It's not hard. I'm not fit, and I only had a little struggle. Lots of benches to stop. Just walk along the river, then back up. You have to go back up either way. I would way the loop trail way is less steep. Saw lots of wildlife. Chipmunks. Birds. Butterflies. The temperature dropped quite a bit at the bottom. Trail is steep and there are some stairs. Not handicap accessible.
We tried to find it but failed. When we googled it, it said permanently closed. So that would be why.
Definitely a cute stop. Walk across the bridge. Beautiful river and mountain views. A beautiful garden section. Lots of butterflies. And a great little cafe and gift shop.
