We used Uber most days to get to and from the park and our main destination for the day but the availability of the shuttle and the bus line was nice too. The park was clean, the owners friendly, and the noise mentioned by others was not noticeable to ua when inside our travel trailer for the night. The park was exactly what we were looking for, someplace safe to call home base and sleep, since we came to New Orleans to experience the city, not sit at the campground. Uber to the French Quarter and everywhere else was cheap, there were restaurants with good food close by and if we had any questions we knew the owners would be able to help. If we return to NOLA we will definitely stay here again.

We booked the site 2 days before arrival based on reviews. They were able to accommodate us on that short notice. The staff was very helpful and the park is very clean and well maintained. Laundry, pool, and hot tub are on site. There is an information sheet that they provide with shuttle information, rules, and regulations. The surrounding neighborhood is economically depressed and may not be ideal for some. There is a secure gated entrance to the rv park with a code. The sites are gravel, we didn’t have any issues getting level. We utilized UBER and Lyft to get to bourbon street just because the shuttle has limited operating hours. The trains run right behind the park but we didn’t really notice the noise. There was a recommendation for a local restaurant literally half a block away called Natal’s and it was amazing for take-out. We enjoyed our stay and would venture there again.

Marla the manager was very friendly and helpful with local information. The RV park is very safe, clean and maintained. Clean bathrooms. We stayed over the Easter holiday weekend and was treated to a shrimp boil - very good. Marla provides a shuttle in and back to the French Quarter several times daily for a small fee. Uber is also an inexpensive option. Several cats roam the park and are friendly. Would definitely recommend and we will stay here again or next time through.

This park is good for the sole purpose of visiting New Orleans. It's basically a parking lot with one road down the middle and everyone parked very close together on each side of the road. Big rigs may have a problem maneuvering if everyone is back with their cars parked. But, there is a pool and a hot tub. The bathrooms and showers are nice and clean. The laundry has old machines, but they work fine and cost $1.50 each per load. The park is closed up with a gate at night. They also have a shuttle to and from the French Quarter at various time during the day (Mon-Sat) that costs $5 per person each way.
The wifi is typical and works better with less traffic (such as early in the morning).
There seem to be a few of these small RV parks along this road, and this one was the busier than others.

We called on short notice to get a spot for Mardi Gras and one night after and they had a spot for us. The park is a bit cramped as the previous review states however, our 33ft class A was not difficult with a bit of planning and the help of Marla, the owner. The park is fully fenced with the exception of the rear fence that was damaged in the recent tornados (2017). Accommodating to pets, our 60lb black lab was welcomed and a small dog walking area is set aside to spite having nearly every square inch of the property occupied. Marla rescues stray cats and there are a few that will make friends if you let them. It was nice to relax in the pavilion and have a furry companion. Marla ran the shuttle as well, which is less a "shuttle" and more her driving you and a few others in her mini-van into the easternmost section of the French Quarter but she does so with an arranged time and will even set up a meeting spot to rescue you. The WiFi is decent, however this is not the spot to stay in at, it is a spot to sleep and recharge at after exploring. Do not expect to find vast, paved plots with complimentary water features, this is fifteen minutes from downtown with full hook ups and a comfy hot tub.
Access- the right turn required to enter the park will require the use of both lanes of the two lane road its on for the larger rigs, especially with a toad.
Location- You're ten minutes from downtown... any better and you would be there.
Cleanliness- The tornado kind of messed things up for us
Site Quality- Grass with threaded sewer hookup and 50amp service
Noise - You are directly next to a trainyard

Cant say more kind words about the owners and the nice little park they are running.
However, the area in which this RV park is in is less than desirable. Trash and debris litter the roadways on the main road leading to their campground giving the area the park sits in a 3rd world feel. Now to be fair, we had much of the same feelings regarding most of New Orleans.
This evening we heard engines revving and racing well past midnight. That was annoying but then the finale came as multiple bursts of semi automatic gunfire occurred over a 30 minute period of time.
Not being from the area, it was close enough and alarming enough that my wife had a panic attack and I ended up calling 911. The officer was quick to tell me that there is illegal drag racing which occurs in the are of the RV park and that they were going to investigate.
Once again, not the fault of the super nice RV park owners, but definitely something that I would have considered before booking my stay.

Can’t say enough good things about this gem. Gated, awesome host who guided us in perfectly. Spotless restrooms! Best of all shuttle to French quarter for only $5.00! WiFi was strong and no buffering. She warned us about the train, but all three adults did not hear it. Do NOT let the neighborhood put you off. People are nice, just poor

We stayed 3 nights while in New Orleans. Owners where friendly and nice. Bathroom clean. Mostly we sprout time in town and came back to sleep. It was noisy we expected that as it’s right on the road. We took lift into town it was pricey 25 -45 a trip and that much again to get back. The owners had a few trips a day going into town, we always missed them. I would stay here again.

We paid $720 for the month of January and for full hookups and close proximity to the city, we were happy with this price. If anyone talks about it being a sketchy area, I can see why but in a month of visiting New Orleans, we found many parts of the city in general are sketchy areas. We definitely loved this city though. The trains were loud but after 2-3 nights, we slept soundly right through any noise (not the first few nights though).
