Exit 217 Ellsworth go north 1/2 mile down a dirt road and you can get practically underneath one of these giant machines! So cool!!
This was a lot of fun for a quick stop off the road. The kids loved seeing the windmill up close!
I took a right and went down the dirt road for 5 miles. The sun was setting and everything looked so cool.
Well worth the stop. So close off the road and you don't have to go far km the dirt road to stand under a wind turbine very cool experience
Exit 216! Then north (right) down the dirt road. So impressive and beautiful
We drove through on I-70 after midnight and the hundreds of red synchronized flashing lights for miles was amazing! When we Googled and found out they were wind turbines, we were amazed! There were a few we could see from the road.....so cool! I'm sure it's even more amazing during the day.
Exit 217?? Would help to have a cross street since Ellsworth really isn't off the highway.
