One of a handful of Harvest Hosts sites I've sprinkled into the itinerary but drawback is usually no hookups
Average reviews about this SP - hoping to bookend with Harvest Host stays but will refill water tank and dump if necessary before heading up to Leelanau
Have added another Harvest Host - Boyne Valley Vineyards for Friday night so would only stay at SP on Saturday - Kathy and Susan may visit but HIGHLY unlikely
Feel like I need to fit this in since I'm making the trip but will need to see how feeling at this point in trip - a lot of effort to park and ferry over but...
Need to look into possible charter tour - have heard wonderful things about this area
Treating self to nice evening here - gets high ratings
Plan to spend a couple of days exploring Marquettte - if there's more to see may shorten Porkies stay
Highly unlikely I'll venture to MN but since I've never been in the state I may swing over since I'm going to be very close but most likely not staying if I do go - leaving this as a placeholder but again - most likely won't stop

Really started this whole road trip hoping Shane and or Jack could possibly meet up with me along the way but that's not looking realistic -- I need to realize that this is my journey and not theirs. Would love to share stops along the way with them but life getting in the way
