Arrived just after closing. Sign said to call a number to check in. No answer. Tried and tried. Decided to stay and pay in the morning when the office opens. Started looking around. Pool closed, one set of bathrooms closed. Showers were locked. Decided not to stay.

Cute historic town. Beautiful building. It won awards for being restored with such authenticity. We walk in the lobby and the first thing we see, dominating thousands of hours of restoration, is huge hanging painted blue canvases with stars and moons painted on it. It made us not stay there or eat there.
This place is a must see. Unbelievable collection of tractors and many other items. Very clean and Very interesting. Very rare vehicles and other items.The people who run it are the best. Very kind. We will always love Iowa this visit. What a wonderful, dedicated person to collect and preserve these tractors.
Complete waste of time. It looked like a youth group project. Headstones were all alike made by amateurs on wood. Nothing authentic seemed to be there. Right in the middle of a modern neighborhood. Don’t waste your time.
