Boot Hill Cemetery

Was only about a mile off the freeway. Great quick stop to check out. They had pamphlets and a sign in book. Very interesting

Fun quick stop for a bit of Wild West history just off the interstate. The wooden headstones tell a story of those who lived and died in Ogallala during its heyday in the late 1880’s.

Complete waste of time. It looked like a youth group project. Headstones were all alike made by amateurs on wood. Nothing authentic seemed to be there. Right in the middle of a modern neighborhood. Don’t waste your time.

Interesting historical place to stop and offers a beautiful view. We went in the winter and the steps were not cared for so a little slippery.

This was a very interesting cemetery to stop at!!
