This is up the hill off the road into Silver Bay from 61. It's a convenient location if going up the north shore and staying somewhere like Tettegouche. There is a fresh water filling hose slightly away from the dump station by the mini storage building. There are no fees posted but there is a donation box. The rinse water hose was no threaded so you'll need a water bandit if you want to use your black tank flush but the water pressure is good. The sewage drain hole has no foot thing to open it so you'll have to do it by hand. The dump station is relatively level making for no issues with dumping.

We really enjoyed our stay at this campground. We stayed Sunday-Wednesday and there were no more than two or three other campers there during our stay. The campground was quiet with the exception of the cows that graze in the field. The cows were fun to watch as they would parade back and forth past our campsite on the other side of the fence. The sites here aren't terribly big and being a prairie there isn't a whole lot of tree cover and thus little privacy between spaces. However the sites had decent spacing between them. Our site was a pull through site, however it wasn't far off the campground road. The mowed area of the campsite wasn't terribly big but it was adequate for our needs. The lack of tree cover did provide good solar chargin for our batteries. We liked the location as it was away from just about everything which made it quiet and peaceful. As for cell service we generally had one to two bars of verizon LTE. However the data seemed to be somewhat unreliable. For TV we got four channels.

We stayed in lot 1C for the Indy 500 weekend. We arrived on the evening of Thursday before the race. Upon arrival there are people at the entrance to greet you and then you follow someone in a golf cart to where they want to park you. This is basically a field they allow people to park campers and put up tents. it had been raining the day we arrived so the ground was pretty soft. We followed another camper behind the golf cart to the spot they were going to put us. The camper in front of us ended up getting stuck in the soft ground. Luckily we were able to get situation without getting stuck. The grass in the field was kind of tall and could have used a mow. There's no marked off spots and you're just parked in a field. There is a kind of party type atmosphere here. On saturday there was a group with very loud speakers and music for most of the day. Luckily we were gone most of that day. Since there is no power there are a lot of generators as well. This is not the place to be if you want quiet and privacy as you will get none of that. The reason to stay here is convenience to the race track. The walk from our campsite to the turn 4 gate was about ten minutes. After the race we showered in our trailer, took a nap, and hung out until about 8pm to let the traffic subside. This worked great as we had no traffic issues on departure. The Verizon data was pretty solid. We received more than 60 over the air TV channels. We'd probably stay here again because of the convenience to the track and not having to deal with parking or traffic. However going into it with the mindset that you're there as a means to an end and not there to enjoy camping and to be prepared for the people and noise will make it a better expereience.

We did general camping and chose to park in the no generator section. The sites outside of the improved area are not really marked and are all first come first served. You drive around to find an open spot and then set up there. It did take us too long to find a spot. The spots are basically in a large grass field that is marked off into aisles. The spot we chose was fairly level. There is a Campground shuttle. The first morning we got it with little wait. Getting back after the show took much longer. Sunday morning the shuttle drivers didn't seem to know the route and weren't going down the road our stop was on. We ended up going Down to stits to catch it. The dump station is large we used it to fill freshwater when we got there but opted to go elsewhere to dump because of the line on Sunday afternoon. The Campground was remarkably quiet for how many people were there and how close everyone was. We were able to see most of the Friday show from our campsite. The check in process was easy and the volunteers were helpful and friendly. They also give you a swag bag.

We stayed here for a night on the way to Arizona. It is first come first serve and the campsites seem kind of like they're just laid out in a parking lot. We arrived just before sunset and were met by the camp host who was very nice and put us in a spot which wasn't actually a campsite. It was good enough for us for the night. The sunset was gorgeous. The night sky was very dark and the stars were very clear. The campground has a bathroom building which was in decent shape. The other campers here were very quiet which made a peaceful night. Cell phone coverage was decent, but there were no over the air tv channels. We'd stay here again if we're passing through.

We stayed in the Lakeside campground as it had electric. However, as the state of Minnesota seems to like to do in their electric camgrounds the site are very close together. There was no trees or brush between the sites and no real privacy between any of the sites. There was no site to our right, but the site to our left was very close. Fortunately there was no one in that site while we were there or it would have made for a much less enjoyable experience. This wasn't the quietest campground as there were constantly kids riding their bikes past. The cell service from verizon was very spotty. Generally good enough for texting, but not good enough for reliable data. There is wifi in the campground, but as it is not intended for streaming or downloading stuff it is somewhat slow, but it works well enough for loading weather radar.

Next time I go to Lake Bronson I would choose the Two Rivers campground. Those sites are wooded with good privacy between them.

The road in has some rally nasty speed bumps. You have to check in when you arrive even if you already have a reserved site which seems unnecessary. The sites in our loop are paved pull through sites but they're all very close together and there is zero privacy between sites. Luckily we were really only around to sleep. The sites aren't terribly level For as close as the sites were together the campground did seem pretty quiet. It can get kind of smoky when people are having fires. We had 3 bars of LTE and 26 over the air TV channels. There is free Wi-Fi but it is limited to 0.8 mbps and 200 mb of data so it's not useful for much more than checking email or basic internet. The campground is heavily wooded which is nice that it provides shade on a hot day but if you're relying on solar it's not a great choice. This campground is good for visiting Nashville and Central Tennessee but I wouldn't make it a destination campground where you're going to hang out.

We had a spacious camp site which offered a lot of privacy. The site was relatively flat with a standard picnic table and fire ring. The vaulted toilet was a short walk from our site and was in good condition. There was a lot of bug at our site. You will definitely need bug spray or some other bug deterrent. The campground is close to an ATV trail and you can often hear ATVs. There was also a few other groups which were pretty loud (screaming kids all day and laughing/yelling adults late at night). Not sure if thats the norm there. Proximity to Clam Lake is nice for when you dont feel like cooking. We did not check out the beach.

This a pretty campground which is down in a valley. The drive down in and the drive out is quite hilly and curvy. The site was spacious with a paved pad which was relatively level. The sites have good spacing between them but there no privacy offered. There's a creek behind the campsite which can be heard. We were unable to receive any TV channels, there was no verizon coverage and we had difficulty receiving the NOAA weather radio channels.

This was a nice forest campground with a nice canopy of trees. The site was fairly unlevel and was just barely big enough to fit our 20 foot trailer with tow vehicle. The sites have a decent amount of space and a good amount of spacing between sites. There was some degree of privacy between sites, possibly there might be more when theres more leaves on the trees. We were one of three campsites occupied in mid April. We had zero TV channels and two bars of Verizon LTE. There was some road noise but our neighbors were quiet. If you're ham radio operator who is into Parks on the Air this is a 3fer activation.
