We stayed in the Ridge campground. Our site was surrounded by trees with the exception of a gap that went to the next site. This seemed to offer pretty good privacy. The entrance to the site was very tight with trees on both sides. Backing our trailer in would have been very difficult. Luckily there was no one in the adjacent site and we were able to drive through that one and turn it into a drive through site. The campground was fairly quiet with the exception of a neighbor loudly playing cornhole, but they quieted down before dark. Verizon gave me 1-2 bars of LTE which worked reliably. The campground is a pretty good distance into the park. The dump station is right inside the right after you turn right after the ranger building. There was a sign pointing for it to be down that road but no sign to indicate where it actually was and it was not readily apparent from the road. We needed to fill our tank with water and ended up driving all the way to the campground trying to find it before we pulled up a map on our phone and had to drive back to the entrance.

The lack of light pollution here made for a great opportunity to take night photos over the lake from the beach at the end of the road.

We were only here one night and didn't get a lot of time to explore the park. The campground area seemed well kept up. The site quality was good but it wasn't terribly big and the adjacent sites are close but not quite as close as you'd expect for a campground like this one. The water pressure was good but the sewer inlet was kind of high. We had two bars of Verizon 5G and 43 TV Channels. There is some road noise but its not too bad, otherwise the campground seemed pretty quiet.

We stayed here on the way home from Arizona. Our site was concrete which was nice and level. The water was not turned on yet though, we were charged for the when making the online reservation but the sign at the park said you're not supposed to be. The campground was quite. The sites have an ok amount of space between them but there is zero privacy. We had good verizon coverage and zero over the air tv channels. The wifi worked really well (50mbps down) but there were few people at the campground. For some reason there was a street light in the grassy area behind our campsite which was rather obnoxious.

This is a large campground and getting to our site seemed like a bit of drive to get to. We stayed on a Friday night and it was mostly full. We had a site that backed up to the lake. The lake view was nice but the site was sloped pretty good towards the lake. We had one bar of LTE but it was mostly unusable. We were also unable to receive any TV channels. We didn't have another site that close to us but there wasn't much privacy. Our campsite was under the approach path for the airport that is next to the airport. We enjoy that but some might not. The campground seemed to be pretty quiet. There's two dump stations which was nice.

The campsites were all very open and there wasn't any privacy between them. However the sites were the biggest campsites that I have ever seen which made up some for the lack of privacy between the sites. Our site was fairly level with just a slight slope to the back and left. The site had 20/30/50 amp service which worked well. The water hookup was had solid pressure and no noticeable smell or taste. We had 20 television stations over the air. The cell signal for Verizon was solid and reliable which was good for working remotely. We were there during the week and the campground was maybe 10% full. It started filling up Thursday but we left around noon Friday so I cannot say how it was over the weekend. The campground was pretty quiet for the bulk of our stay. The park has a swim beach which was decent but the water was cold when we were there. We had some difficulty getting firewood and ended up getting it at the gas station in Pick City. My biggest complaint was the wind. It was windy pretty much all the time. We ended up taking our awning down the first day after the wind tried blowing it away. The sunsets across the lake were very pretty. If you're a ham the noise on HF was quite high. I do not believe it was anything in our trailer. It may have been a neighbors trailer but I'm inclined to think that the large hydroelectric power plant a mile or so away was the root of the issue. Overall our stay here was good and we'd likely come back.

We stayed here the weekend before memorial day. The campground seemed fairly full but was rather quiet for a state park campground. Our site long and narrow and was nicely secluded with trees on all sides and not being able to see adjacent sites. it was right next to a trail but it wasn't trafficked too heavily. It was not terribly level but we were able to get it leveled with blocks. It doesn't really appear like there would be a good spot to put down a tent. We got no TV channels and 2 bars of Verizon LTE. The LTE was spotty at times but I was able to stream to my TV. You couldn't really hear the road at our site but you could hear the nearby waterfall. There is no dump station but there is one just down the road in Silver Bay which also has drinking water to fill your tanks. The road into the campground in from 61 is kinda long and has a good amount of heaves.

We stayed one night here on the way to Arizona. We arrived near sunset and left fairly early so we didn't really get to sample any amenities the park may have. We had a pull through site which was fairly level. There is little vegetation so there isn't a lot of privacy. The power box was on the wrong side if you enter the campground loop in a counter clockwise direction. The water was not yet turned on while we were there.
Cellphone coverage was decent and we had 62 over the air tv channels. The people camped here seemed to like to light up their campsites, which is always weird to me. We'd probably stay here again for an overnight, I don't know about longer stays.

We had a spacious camp site which offered a lot of privacy. The site was relatively flat with a standard picnic table and fire ring. The vaulted toilet was a short walk from our site and was in good condition. There was a lot of bug at our site. You will definitely need bug spray or some other bug deterrent. The campground is close to an ATV trail and you can often hear ATVs. There was also a few other groups which were pretty loud (screaming kids all day and laughing/yelling adults late at night). Not sure if thats the norm there. Proximity to Clam Lake is nice for when you dont feel like cooking. We did not check out the beach.

We had site 9 which was a pill through site in Loop A. Our site had good space and good privacy. Some of the other sites, especially those in Loop B dont offer much privacy. The campground was mostly quiet with the exception of the usual annoying children. The sunrise and sunset views from the campground are pretty and the sites at the south end of Loop A have a good view of the Milky Way. We arrived on a Friday and through Sunday morning our loop was probably 75% full and Loop B was probably 90% full. After the weekenders left Sunday morning we were the only people in loop A and Loop B was maybe 25% full. My partner enjoyed the trails at the park. There is no dump station in the park. There is a dump station behind the Burger King in Jackson but the sewer inlet was higher than the outlet on our trailer so drainage didnt work well and the rinse water pressure was not strong enough to be effective. We ended up not finishing and doing it closer to home. The Verizon LTE coverage was mostly reliable.

I've stayed here numerous times while working the Ojibwe Forest Rally. It's a fairly small and heavily wooded Campground. The campsites aren't real big but many offer a lot of privacy. Many of the campsites have a view of the lake. It is usually pretty quiet here. I'd suggest paying only cash here. I payed by card several years ago and apparently someone fished my slip out of the pay post and spent several hundred dollars with my number in town.
