One Occupied Matched The GPS Then Onward One On A Corner That Was Close To The Road And A Bit Of Trash Woutbe In A Cloud Of Dust. Then Further back Was An Area But It Was A Dump With Garbage Broken Glass And Shotgun Shells. The road in was good but looks like grater pushed up sides to eliminate low clearance access to possible camps. We moved On And Decided To Stay At Bottomless Lake. The NM Parks Are Reasonable Priced.

Drove to coords and turned around. Maybe a tent but not for a rig

Arrived Early on a Friday. The Road In Is Fine. About 1/2 Mile In See Scattered Sites. About A Dozen. Some Require 4 Wheel Drive And Better Suited For Text. But We Found A Place For Our Trying Clean And 22 Ft Trailer. Quiet out of the way.

This is a quiet campground but full service for 20.00. Depending on where you stay, you have views we chose an end site, so it was best. Looks like many regulars here, but I loved that the sign says Ten Commandments apply to rules. Passing through, and was nice to get in early enough to rest. I like it that is is small, no playground, nothing but a sleep and sit relay place. Out of the way, but that is good too. Close to the river if you are so inclined.

This is about a mile and a half off the highway. Close the gate. Mostly used by climbers. We were able to manage the rocky road. I would avoid it after it rains. There are many sites here, but they are better suited for car or tent campers. Primitive sites, although there is a pit toilet no trash service.
It is clean. Please keep it that way. No fires.
There is a trail along the ledge, and you can hike down to the bottom of the canyon, but it is steep.

First site was littered with t paper. Geez who does that.

There are several turn-arounds large enough for trailers along this road. Apparently, its ATV haven on the weekends. However, we did not have any come along while we parked our van. We pulled in on a side road campsite. It was absolutely beautiful. I watched Jack Rabbits and the sunset. Listened to the silence.
Driving in, we drove thru a river with running water. I didn't want to go thru it, but the locals said it was find and we followed several trucks through it. We did not go off the main road very far in our Transit RWD, but if we had a 4x4 lots more spaces.
Very clean, please keep it that way. no trash or water dispersed. However had enough cell service to play Hulu after the sun went down.
