Stayed here while visiting YNP. Sites were gravel with lawn on side and picnic table on cement pad. Our site was very level. Hookups were in good condition. As the park points out in literature & on-line, sewer is in the middle of many of the sites. We had to use an extension for our small Class C. The TT next door had to use 3 extensions. Nice shade trees on most sites. Our site backed up to the forest. There is no dog park, but a nice pet walk around the perimeter of the park.
Laundry room was clean and in very good condition. WiFi is available but weak. Cable TV available but we were able to pick up satellite so didn’t use the cable. Store on site was lovely and employees were quite friendly. Quick and easy check-in with a large “staging area” for people to park while checking in. Overall we loved the park itself and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Our stay would have been exceptional if it weren’t for the people in a camper next to us and their relatives a few sites down. They apparently home school and each had 3-5 children. Unfortunately, the children appeared to be doing zero actual schooling and instead create havoc up and down the row where we are staying. They race bikes up and down the road and through other guests’ sites, screaming at the top of their lungs - from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (so far) today. No adult ever came out of the camper next to us the entire day. An adult relative from another site came down a couple times during the day and then quickly retreated to her haven of quiet down the row. Campground did nothing about it. We are here now and plan to be in YNP all day for the next three days, so won’t have to listen to all that during those days. It’s just a shame that the one down day we had is disrupted by people who have no regard for neighbors. Worse, these parents also do not have any concept of child safety issues as their children are much too young to be completely unsupervised. (Rant over. Lol)

We stopped here overnight and it was perfect. Level spaces with plenty of room and grass between. Very clean park. Didn’t use the restrooms so can’t comment on them. We walked over to the Cabela store to register and paid $27 for FHU with GS discount. The woman who checked us in was so nice and welcoming. Strong complimentary WiFi. Just an overall great place for a good night’s rest after a long driving day. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed here one night on our way from CA to IN. If we hadn’t had an appointment for warranty work at the Indiana factory, we would’ve stayed here longer. What a fantastic park! Perfectly level sites with grass, lovely setting with lake for fishing, swings, paddle boats, horseshoes, and more. Relatively small (31 sites) family owned RV park that excels in service. Scrumptious fresh baked muffins upon arrival and genuine gratitude for staying with them. Wish we lived closer so we could visit more often.

We stayed here a couple years ago right after we bought our RV, and absolutely loved it. Not sure if we were still in the honeymoon stage of camping or if things have changed, but this time has been rather disappointing.

Pros:
Easy check-in;
Large secluded level sites are nicely separated by foliage;
Sites are cleaned after each guest;
Electrical & water hookups are well placed and maintained;
Camp hosts are always available and working to make sure sites are in good order;
Beach is pristine;
Restaurants & plenty of shopping right outside the park.

Cons:
The constant noise from close by helicopter tours and 98 traffic ruins any semblance of relaxation when sitting outside. Thus, we really didn’t get a chance to enjoy the beautiful large site. It starts early each day and (traffic noise at least) goes well into the night.
Site 3 in A Loop was so close to 98 that it sounded like we were next to a racetrack all night. Site 59 in D Loop was better.

The excessively loud thumping music from nearby venues interferes with peaceful evenings on the weekends.

The boardwalk to the beach is being rebuilt so no direct access this time. However it was only a couple minute drive from the campsite to the public parking area to then walk over the walkways to the beach.

It’s so hard to get into this campground, so I’m sure most people don’t mind the noise or are at least willing to overlook it in exchange for the location. And I know that I know they won’t miss our business, but we will probably not be back.
