Wow, this will be amazing if it is ever finished but it is impressive. Price is steep to get in but there are a lot of artifacts and history. Authentic Native American crafts for sale too.
Must see and ensure you visit both visitor centers. The one about the sculptor is awesome!
People are nice, sites are small and they are close. It has a lot of full timers in the park and some really outdated rigs. The store is very small and not always managed. Not close to really anything. We just stayed overnight. The owner is really nice and helpful.
Excellent park, a few miles from the park entrance but we’ll organized and lots to do.. thank you kia!
Why anyone would want to feed prairie dogs is beyond me, they carry the plague but the statue is fun and you can see it even if you don’t stop.
This park is awesome, the staff are amazing. We arrived late so didn’t get the opportunity to visit everything but there is so much to do it is like a resort!
Awesome, there are a collection of historic buildings, the operators know thier stuff, and we were there right before closing and they took the time to tell us about the place. Very Nic and peaceful. Watch for deer on the way!
This is a basic park, there is power and water, etc, but we only hooked up to power while there, the water spigot and sewer connection were in a puddle, probably because of storms. The parking is on crushed stone and there really isn’t anywhere to walk dogs, without intruding on one of the mobile homes, we just put up a fence outside the door to let them out. The location is central to the lake and to the small town of Paris. No frills, just a place to park, this was fine. It is small so turning around big rigs requires backing up. The owner is nice and communicated via text without issue. Only one person was there when we were there so we could pull our tow vehicle into a different spot. No overflow spaces so if it is full parking would be difficult. For 30 bucks, it met our needs for one night.
Wanted to add the ranger was outstanding, she was running around checking on everyone because of the storm. Power did come back on about 11pm, so finally cooled off. Looks like a lot of things to do but need to be there longer than one night and get a more level site. The back in sites appeared more level than the pull through.
Spaces are tight in some places. Power was out after a storm and so it was hot and sticky, everything closed because of the power outage. Not their fault but made for a lousy stay.
