My family stayed here for a night on a long road trip around the NW of US/Canada. We booked site 1 with the intent of being on an end with privacy on at least one side. We arrived to find that there were some newly created sites on the supposed-to-be-private side of our camper. Not originally a big deal. We had a great time at the brewery which was less than 100 yards away listening to live music, eating from the food trucks (2), and sipping on beers. Coming from a craft beer heavy town, the beer here was just alright. bud did the trick! The space was very family friendly with lots of outdoor seating. There was a sandy playspace with toys for the kids. The staff was fantastic... friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, and not the fault of the brewery/site managers, the folks camped in new site # -1 ended up coming and going all night with loud rumbling vehicles pulling in and out next to us with tons of noise at 3am.... so none of us got much sleep. Being at a brewery, even with quiet hours established, one probably can't be that upset with this... comes with the territory and luck of the draw.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay here. We got site 15M in the loop that's outside the main section off of Whistlers Rd. Even though most of the terrain in this campground has been sadly clearcut due to beetle infestation, limiting privacy... our campsite was lush with vegetation and quite private, quiet, and easily navigated. The restroom facilities here are IMMACULATE. Bathrooms and separate showers are seemingly brand new, spotlessly clean, and pleasant... also a close and easy walk from any site in the loop. Note however, they do close the entire building each morning for a good hour or so between 9 & 11am. This was a slight inconvenience for a wonderful outcome. I'd stay here again and again.

Huge compound of campsites that are pull through/parallel parking style. Not a ton of privacy, but also doesn't feel invasive. We booked a site on the outer rim overlooking the mountains based on our Google Maps research, but turns out Tunnel Mountain Rd is busier than you might think if you aren't familiar with the area. Regardless... beautiful view, clean site, pretty quiet considering the space, nice bathroom facilities, and close to everything you want to be close to in Banff. We didnt use the bus, but it's very convenient to get into town and to other sights.

Site 74 was absolutely the best campsite in one of the best campgrounds we've stayed in. Beautiful riverside plot with open space but still relatively private. The campground itself was well appointed with clean and well-functioning bathrooms. There was some bear activity while we were there, and the friendly and diligent Ranger team stayed on-site making us feel safe and informed. On a 2+ week adventure across the NW USA & Canada, this was definitely our best stop. Highly recommend!

The camp host was off-site with an emergency, so some understandable issues occurred with our reservation that were worked out in a satisfactory manner. We ended up with a double site to ourselves with a nice view of the canyon and moderate view of the water. There was a path down to the "campground swim beach" adjacent to the site... but we never found a spot that I would qualify as such. There were water snakes and other critters that had me thinking twice about swimming. If we didnt have the double site to oursevles, the situation would have been very crowded and lacking any privacy whatsoever. I probably won't camp here again.... but it was... fine.

Our experience might be very different from most. But we showed up to site 11 for an overnight on our way to Glacier NP and promptly left in favor of the (cringe) KOA up the road a ways. As soon as I opened the car door, no less than 18 mosquitos flew into the vehicle and began feasting on our flesh. My wife and I tried standing outside and discussing placement of our teardrop camper, but couldn't stand it and had to retreat back to the truck. Our site was also very open to a semi-circle of multiple other sites with little to no privacy even though it wasn't an RV park-style setting. This place is probably fine, but I will never set foot there again.

This campground was fantastic and Flathead Lake is gorgeous. We had site 10 (which the campground attendant commented is one of the best) and it was private, quiet, spacious, and had a direct path down to both the swim beach/cove and the "cliffs" overlooking the lake with plenty of benches and nooks to find some serenity. I wish we could have stayed a few more nights!

This campground gets great reviews, and I think a lot of that has to do with the nice and easy accommodations for tent campers and cyclist campers in particular. That said, we hated our experience here. We camp A LOT (albeit in the USA), and our experience here was just not what we were hoping for at all. Our site was not at all private, quite unlevel, tight to maneuver with neighbors present (we have a small 20' teardrop trailer), confusing to navigate even with a map, and the facilities were far and pretty gross even though there were flushing toilets, showers, and sinks. Our other Canadian campground experiences on our 2+ week roadtrip were far superior and enjoyable, so I don't think this was just a cultural expectations issue. To each their own, but we wanted to leave and started hunting for hotels unsuccessfully as soon as we got there and were eager to leave.

We knew what we were getting into booking this campground for the most part. This spot is really not appropriate for anyone other than those using the dunes with lots and lots of power toys. We rented a OHV from a place down the road for a morning and had a great time. But our teardrop camper was extremely out of place amongst the huuuuuuuge toy hauler mansions. Felt very out of place. Sites are RV park style right next to each other with no outdoor privacy if you dont have the house to retreat to. Pit toilet was fine. For the purpose it serves, it's pretty good. But don't go here if you aren't expecting that.
