This is a great campground! We stayed for one night in a pull thru with a patio and a "paw pen". Then patio was large with a table and four chairs and the paw pen was amazing for our labrador. (They also have a dog run on site) There was grass at our site and plenty of beautiful shade trees. Very clean campground, pool area and a fantastic little store for essentials and souvenirs. The campground is tucked away in a neighborhood so it is easy to walk to town as well and bike around the quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our one night here!

Lovely campground! It was clean and well maintained. We were greeted by the owner/manager upon arrival and had a large, level spot. Propane fire pits were at each space and a small table and logs for sitting. Each apace also had a shade structure with table and mat where you could put your barbecue. Lovely mountains all around but the best part is the night time sky. If you love star gazing this is the place for you! We will definitely return!

This was a nice campground - staff was super friendly and the sites wherever nice with shade! We were only here for one night so we didn't use all the facilities. We did use the workout room - minimal but more than other campgrounds we have stayed at! It is far from the lake (to walk or bike ride). Not within walking or biking distance from town either as it is situated on a very busy highway. It was perfect for our one night stay!

First, the hosts are fantastic - great people! The campground is OK. There is grass and shade, which was nice. The dog park didn't have a fence so we were not able to let our dog off his leash. We didn't use the restrooms or laundry. There is no pool but did have a cute playground. It was very close to the highway so there was traffic noise and we did hear trains, although it wasn't bothersome to us. This was just a spot on our way to Montana and it was fine for one night but I wouldn't stay here for an extended time.

This is a terrific campground! The sites are long and wide with full hook-ups. There is a really nice fenced in dog area with lots of trees. The sites themselves are not shaded but they will be when the trees mature. The campground was only a year and a half old when we camped here. You are very close to West Glacier village where there is a rafting and fishing company, bar and restaurant, gift shop, gas, and small grocery store. There is a paved path to ride your bike or walk to the village. The views are beautiful and the campground is located right outside of Glacier National Park. Staff was amazing - friendly and accommodating. We were able to get into our site early with no problem. Very clean - great laundry room, as well. No negatives at all - can't wait to come back!

This is a very nice campground with many activities and amenities but with that come A LOT of rules. Two pages to be exact. I don't mind having guidelines and of course using one's own common sense, but Eagle Nest goes a bit overboard. For my husband and I, this was not the type of campground we enjoy. This is more of a RV retirement community than a regular RV park with a variety of RVer's - families, young marrieds, singles, etc. The staff is OK. Some were very friendly and others not so much. There is a lot of grass and trees and the spaces are fairly large and level. There is a golf course nearby which was very nice. The lake is not close enough to walk to.

We loved this campground. It is nestled in the Central Idaho Rocky Mountains on the Salmon River. The scenery is amazing and the river is beautiful. The campsites sit a bit above the river but you can easily access it from behind the lodge (a short walk). Great spots for fishing and not only do you have fishing in the Salmon, but you also have the North Fork of the Idaho as well as this is where the North Fork runs into the Salmon Also within walking distance is a gas station, amazing tackle shop and small grocery with a nice selection of items. It is off the main highway so there was a bit of traffic noise during the day but none in the evening. Can't wait to visit again!
