This campground is right across the street from Cummins Falls State Park. We were driving on 40 and saw the sign to the Falls and decided to detour for the stop. The campground is about 10-15 minutes from 40. By the time we got to the park we had a spot to stay and made reservations to hike the gorge. The campground employees were extremely friendly and accommodating. Could not have asked for a nicer stay. The hike was amazing!

Extremely nice pool, laundry takes credit cards, level sites, great customer service, walking trail 1 mile, lake, good location to Savannah (20 minutes), they are working hard on landscaping. Lake Bath House needs help. New restaurant will be beautiful. Clubhouse is lovely. Sites are right but nice. Will definitely come back.

We stayed here for 4 nights before we went to St George Island Campground. It was a very nice campground with level sites, paver patio, wonderful view of the bay, very clean restrooms, laundry and clubhouse. We visited the National Estuarine Center, Apalachicola, and drove over to St George Island a few times. We didn’t find any restaurants that were very good but they do have raw bars and micro brews in Apalachicola. We stayed in a site on the roadway which had some road noise. I would stay here again.

There are some amazing sites in this campground unfortunately we didn’t get one. The owners had installed a pavilion and we barely fit our 30ft into. The sewer did not have a cap on it and we were right on the road. We walked around the campground and saw some beautiful sites. Bathhouse was extremely clean, pool and grounds.

The campground is set on a very steep hill, that being said we had no issues with our F250 and 30ft TT. The camp staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The bathrooms were amazing and the laundry was the best I have ever seen. It is positioned close to Asheville, Mt Mitchell, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Stores and the small town of Black Mountain are minutes away. I would have enjoyed our stay better if we had a different site. They do have some amazing sites, unfortunately ours was not one. But to get one of these sites you need to book at least year in advance.

This campground is very convenient to Mammoth Cave National Park and Kentucky Down Under. We camped in a 5th wheel with our grandchildren. Couldn’t have asked for nicer people. Awesome dog park! We would definitely camp here again!

We stayed her during Christmas and loved the area. The campsite was adequate size for our 5th wheel, it was your typical south Florida vegetation, site was crushed shell, water and electrical (50 & 30). We had a fire ring, picnic table and parked our 450 in front of the camper across the drive, which gave us a lot of privacy. We walked our dog on the trails in the park, went to the beach at night and saw the milky way, road our bikes daily, saw a hawk and resident alligator. If you have children visit the National Estuarine Research Reserve (just before you cross the bridge), free and well worth the trip. My husband said the bathrooms were acceptable he gave them a 6 on the scale 1-10. The mosquitoes were still out so take bug spray (the weather was mid 70's). We went to the lighthouse, ate at Harry A's (don't bother) and walked the streets in Apalachicola. Would love to go back!

This was a gem. We loved this park, full hookups (they do have a few sites) level, gravel sites, large site, distance from next site perfect, trees between sites. Wow can I say enough about this place. Also head over to the springs and kayak. Wow.
