We arrived very late after a failed parking experience at Cracker Barrel about ten minutes down the road. There were a few other rigs, truckers and even a few car campers. The parking lot was fairly level and the area was quiet throughout the night.

We arrived to dump on a Saturday around 2PM and called the number on the gate. We were told in order to dump you have to call Monday-Friday to pay the fee in order to get the gate code. They wouldn’t let us pay over the phone on Saturday so we couldn’t dump here.

The staff was very friendly and we were guided to our site when we arrived. The grounds are well maintained and the sites are mostly level. Unfortunately, there are no amenities, not even a simple play set. The lake next to the campground is a separate fee and closes on Labor Day so we were unable to enjoy the grounds and activities there. Town is just a few minutes away with a few restaurants and a grocer but if you want more than burgers or pizza you’ll have to go into Dunn, Fayetteville or Raleigh.

We asked Walmart customer service and they said we could park for one night. About an hour later after getting all setup security came by and said we had to leave, there is an ordinance saying there is no overnight parking in the city of Kalispell.
This is a great place for camping outside Theodore Roosevelt NP. Once you turn right off of River Rd and go up the first hill there is another road to your left with a large cul-de-sac for camping. If you keep going there are 4-5 other pull offs for camping with larger rigs on the right. There are a few smaller spots up the big hill but it isn't suggested for larger rigs, there's no room to turnaround.

Great spot with some really neat ATV trails. The road is washborded in spots but it wasn't so bad that we couldn't get our 42ft rig up. We parked in a big pull off under some power lines and there was a nice little fire pit there as well. There was quite a bit of trash around so we picked up what we could but other than that we really enjoyed it.

RV dump $10 or $5 w/fuel purchase. Propane fill up, dumpster, potable water and RV wash bay.
We were unaware that the city of Kalispell had a no overnight parking ordinance and got kicked out of our Walmart spot (even though we asked the service desk as always). It was a good thing though because if not we would have missed this gorgeous park.
We stayed one night but the view we got was spectacular! The park was paved all the way through and had nice level gravel sites. Our kids took advantage of the large playground and we used the laundromat as well. We would definitely come back for a longer stay.

Great place to spend a few days if you need an break and affordable stop. It’s close enough to town to easily grab groceries, explore or go to the kids museum. The bathhouse and laundry facilities were very nice and clean. $1.25 for wash and $1 for drying. Self check in area is explained well and easy to use but is cash or check only. We would definitely stop here again if passing though.

This is a great place to stop if you're passing through. We're staying two nights but the limit is three. There is a fairly level gravel parking area with a pavilion, bathrooms and water that is accessible to top up your rig if needed. The park and garden is very well kept with a great playset for kids. There is a train track nearby that is quite loud.
