What a find! Just across the Little Missouri Scenic (but really muddy) River from Theodore Roosevelt NP North Unit. Down a mile long gravel road with multiple cattle guards. Three loops…..Loops A & C are horse friendly, Loop B is not but all have big sites, widely spaced with ample room. There ate Jo Hookups; a pump water at the entrance, but not easily accessible…..come with empty tanks and lots of fresh water. Great trailhead at the campground….it’s 100 miles through to the South Unit of TRNP….or there is a nice 2 mile loop here also.

Tip: No firewood here, bring your own. Watford City is about 15 or so miles north, shopping is decent there. We would stay here again!

One of the first RV parks we visited after we purchased our RV; and it was a great start to our new lifestyle! Paved parking sites, full hook ups, nice dog parks (for big and for small dogs), easy parking guidance, nice dock to look out over an inlet, easy slip to put in a kayak, our site was full sun, good for the satellite - hard on the A/C. Nice pool. This park is located close enough to the airport and our business destination that we could use Uber if needed. Will be staying at the new, over-sized premium sites on our next trip through.
Many of the residents are either full-time or move back in seasonally, but all seemed very friendly. My only tip would be for the city to add sidewalks along the road to make bike riding and walking safer.

Nice state park, paved sites, 50 amp & water hookups, dump station on site. Nice space between sites, very quiet and dark = star-gazing! Lots of bike trails, not used by us. Horses & campers also here. No connectivity here and we opted not to stay because of that problem. If we were not working, this would be a great campground.

Those 50 amp full hook ups were the best thing here. Gravel roads and parking sites, lots of trees but some are dead and just need a big wind to crash down on an RV. Dog walk area, trails. Just outside Keokuk but it is easily accessible within 5 minutes. Good for an overnight or two, but that's about it.

Wonderful place to winter! Nice paved deluxe sites, level grass standard sites, FHU’s 50 amp service, good spacing between sites some with shade. Heated pool and nice clubhouse; most of the winter residents are return quests and have a nice camaraderie in the late afternoon. Rather remote (closest town with shopping is 41 miles), but that is part of the appeal here. Ft. Myers and Ft. Lauderdale are both about 1 hour away.
This may be our winter home when in Florida!

Had a short overnight stay here, but this park and nearby area are already calling me back! Nice spacious sites, 50 amp FHU, paved, quiet and dark at night, tucked back into this park ground. They were setting up for Christmas celebrations and a lighted drive through, some of the campers also set up light displays. This area has lots of charm including shops and restaurants......cannot wait to return!

Nice city park with about 18 camping sites.......FHU with 50 amp service. Gravel pull-through sites with nice grass all around. Close enough to walk downtown for stores and restaurants, especially Prairie Grounds Coffee Shop. Cash or check only, drop in overnight box; park staff so very helpful. Would definitely stay here again!
NOTE: there is a low water crossing into the park; do not follow directions to turn on 15th street! Turn on north on 10th and then west on S. B Street to come straight to the park!

I had such high hopes for this State Park; but alas, this stay was a disappointment. First: Verify your map program takes you to I-15 Exit 202, Yuba State Park, if you attempt to take Exit 207 (thanks Garmin), you will have to drive over a rough gravel road. Second: we disconnected our tow truck for easier entrance into the park (several 90º turns at the entrance) and were charged an extra $15/day for the truck, after speaking with the park supervisor the next day, he refunded the 2 day total of $30 (thanks!). Third: Sites are not well marked. Fourth: Our site was not level, high in the rear, so our front jacks were fully extended. Fifth: Although the website does not mention available water, there are spigots at a few sites (not ours). Sixth: Electricity was terrible. Our surge protector registered Reversed Polarity at the pole. The incoming voltage varied greatly throughout the 2 day stay; it varied from 119 down to 108 incoming voltage. Little things: lots of big black flies. The shade tree on our site is dead and gives Zero shade. Pack your provisions before coming here - no food or gas for 30+ miles away.
Now for the Pros: Very quiet and DARK at night! Lots of opportunities to star-gaze. Nice setting with many trees and great views of the lake from our site. There is grass at each site (with a sprinkler system - why doesn’t every site have water then?). A wind blew most of the time to keep you a bit cooler (98º the first day!).

Nice, quiet campground far enough off I-75, but not too far! Got lost by Garmin directions....should have read my confirmation email first for easy directions. There are 3 campgrounds here, one near the interstate, this one and another farther on for tents. We had 50 amps and water. The road into the campground is hard packed and somewhat rough for a big rig (39’ diesel pusher) as well as narrow. This site was high near the road and on my driver’s side and we had to really work to get somewhat level for the night. Looks like this campground has not been updated for big rigs; but that being said, it was clean with good trails, nearby quiet lake, clean bathrooms, and locked trash bins. Not our first choice, but would be good for a smaller rig.

Lots of trees make the park shady but also hard to maneuver around and leave lots of leaves on top of the sandy surface. Some of the roads are paved, none of the campsites are paved; just hard packed sand and Live Oak leaves. We had a fairly level pull-thru site with 50 amp FHU’s, picnic table and fire ring. The views are into the dense woods mixed with palm trees, palmettos, live oak and Spanish Moss; sand-fleas and mosquitoes are voracious. After adding the nightly cost: $45 + pet deposit of $3.25 per pet + $10 daily charge to enter the island, I’m not sure I would return here.
