First, this is a small campground. All the sites are reserved for the weekend in April but we were able to get a site for one or two nights.
This park is well taken care of. Grass and trees between each site. A gorgeous lake at the edge and snow capped mountains in the background. Each site has a covered picnic table, grill, fire pit and sitting area. Bathrooms are updated and offer hot showers.
Sites can be a bit unlevel as the campground is on the slope of a hill. We were at the top of the hill and had a great view. There is also a zip line at the top of the hill.
The dump and water fill are immaculate. Our site had electricity and water.
This campground is only a couple of miles off the interstate. Definitely would stay here again.

This place was great! I'm nicking a star because of the moth infestation we left with (over a week later, they are still fluttering around our trailer). Otherwise, it was awesome. Green grass everywhere, trees, huge sites, picnic tables with shade covers and a beautiful lake view. The beach at the lake was not great, so we didn't end up spending any time down there, but it was nice and relaxing hanging in hammocks in our site. Bathrooms and showers were clean, hot and private. Great Verizon service, so we were able to get our work done. If we had known how great it was, we probably would have stayed a bit longer, but alas, we had to move on. This is a great place for a stop over being not far off the 15 freeway.
Also, note that if you put Oasis Campground into google maps, it will direct you to "Yuba State Park" and the other campgrounds on the OTHER side of the lake. It's way out of your way to get here from there, and may or may not include a terrible dirt road or you can go around and go about another 45 min out of your way. So, in Google for some reason, this campground is called "Yuba Campground." If you put that in, you should get perfect directions. Also, since we went to the wrong place at first, I'll note this campground is far superior to Painted Rocks on the other side of the lake (and there is minimal cell service over there).

Had to turn the RV around to get hookups on the right side. It wasn't pretty but I got there.
Easy off the hwy and roads are excellent. But far enough for minimal road noise. Put Yuba State Recreation area into your GPS to get here or you may end up at the south campground.
Grass was well kept and wonderful. The lake was clean and dogs are allowed to swim. It was an easy walk down from the campsites to the lake.
Connectivity was great. Verizon was 40+ d/l, ATT 5. Tmobile voice was usable but data not.
OTA pulled in a couple of network channels and some fillers.
The nearest Walmart is an hour drive. There's some small grocery here but I didn't go to it. Other than that, there's nothing out here. So kick back and relax at the lake for a week.
They have onsite jetski, kayak, paddleboard, and boat rentals. The lake is clean and crisp. It's a wonderful campground.

We are driving from Denver to Seattle and did not do a good job making any sort of reservations prior to traveling so it had been difficult to find a place. Oasis is a lovely campground with lots of boating on the nearby lake. There are hot showers and ice cream at the general store. It was definitely windy while we were there and I felt bad for the folks in tents through the night. The site we were in was jammed pretty tight between others.

We arrived midweek before Labor Day and found plenty of open sites. Looked like all sites were reserved for the long weekend though.
We paid $30, for water and electricity ($25 without hookups). All sites are paved, have a shade structure, table, fire pit and most can accommodate big rigs. Sites are not necessarily level, however. Lots of green grass, nice restrooms and showers.
There were two waterview cabins for rent, a group area, boat launch (which was closed due to low water when we were there), picnic area, a sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, a zipline (not open midweek when we were there), OHV trails, a store (which was not open when we were there midweek) and a camp host. Across the street was a great dump station and fish cleaning station.
We came from the north, along the way you will see the two other camping areas mentioned on Campendium (West Beach and North Beach Campgrounds) before you get to the Oasis Campground. We left heading south on the frontage road that will take you back to I-15. There is a underpass you must go under, it is listed at 13'6", which is what we think our overall height is. We monitored the entire length and had plenty of height clearance, whew!

Spent one night going home to Oregon. Easy off interstate but DONT follow Google Maputo coming from south . Go north on I-15 to the State Park sign.
Very nice campground. Some have water and electric some just electric. We had a nice level spot with just electric but put water in on a different site. Dump station also has potable water.
We will use it again. Summer would probably get busy but Thursday night in October was quiet with plenty of open sites.

We actually scheduled space OAS23 which had a "Standard" hookups. Unfortunately, "Standard" means no hookups. It had a great lakeside spot but we wanted at least power. The campground manager was helpful and understanding and allowed us to use one of the available spots. Plenty of grass, nice bathrooms, power was clean, and quite a few very well mannered children in the area.

I had such high hopes for this State Park; but alas, this stay was a disappointment. First: Verify your map program takes you to I-15 Exit 202, Yuba State Park, if you attempt to take Exit 207 (thanks Garmin), you will have to drive over a rough gravel road. Second: we disconnected our tow truck for easier entrance into the park (several 90º turns at the entrance) and were charged an extra $15/day for the truck, after speaking with the park supervisor the next day, he refunded the 2 day total of $30 (thanks!). Third: Sites are not well marked. Fourth: Our site was not level, high in the rear, so our front jacks were fully extended. Fifth: Although the website does not mention available water, there are spigots at a few sites (not ours). Sixth: Electricity was terrible. Our surge protector registered Reversed Polarity at the pole. The incoming voltage varied greatly throughout the 2 day stay; it varied from 119 down to 108 incoming voltage. Little things: lots of big black flies. The shade tree on our site is dead and gives Zero shade. Pack your provisions before coming here - no food or gas for 30+ miles away.
Now for the Pros: Very quiet and DARK at night! Lots of opportunities to star-gaze. Nice setting with many trees and great views of the lake from our site. There is grass at each site (with a sprinkler system - why doesn’t every site have water then?). A wind blew most of the time to keep you a bit cooler (98º the first day!).

As the previous review states site #2 does not have water even though you are paying the same amount as the sites that do. That being said it is a very pretty and quiet place and I would probably come back. Though if in the area again I would try the dry camping nearby for less money. The bathrooms and showers were closed which was lame since you’re still paying the same amount.
