Spacious, well planned and maintained park 3 miles north of natchitoches. Boat launch into bayou Pierre for red river access on south side and, surrounded by cattle to the north. Top shelf bath house with private washrooms and, free laundry room ( 3 sets washer and dryer ).
Coded security gate for entry is a nice added touch.

Nothing wrong with this to see deadwood, thanks.
Thank you maverick.
I echo review from 4 B’s but would add, good area for hiking, Cochise stronghold, Chiricahua, Coronado, Sierra vista, saguaro national park, kartchner cavern state park, all close by.

Very tight parking, congested, it felt like an accident waiting to happen. Wall drugs is well run, a helpful friendly staff. The rv lot is a circus.
Left badlands and ran into high winds so decided to wait it out for the night. Lot was near empty to my surprise. A good stop once again. Thanks wall. I’m driving ms lazy to the next adventure.
I’ve never seen a Walmart this big and, the parking lot also. Short walk to most anything else a traveler might need. Thank you Walmart an Gillette. I’m driving ms lazy to the next adventure.

Easy access, thanks hot springs.
Ruidoso is amazing in July, excellent hiking trails, horse racing, shopping, among numerous outdoor options. If you value quiet time at night and early morning, this is not the rv park for you. The relentless noise is a deal breaker for me.

Descent enough park as I’m there to see and hike badlands. Used the laundry room with no issues. Castle trail and medicine root make for a nice hike ( eight miles combined ). Great time of year to experience badlands.
