Definitely a cheesy little "thing" to see, but worth a stop. Get gas, grab some snacks and take a stroll through the museum. Its well put together and silly and funny - kids will love it - and a nice distraction form a long roadtrip!
Very cool experience her with my teens on a roadtrip. We hiked to the ice cave which was really cool to see, and purchased some cool things from the gift shop. Wish we had more time to explore, as it was a nice area.
This is a little out of the way, but very cool to visit! We walked down to the Ice Cave (not a far walk) and wish we had had time to go to the Volcano as well. A nice little shady spot to stop and see something interesting!
We showed up in 106 degree weather and although it was hot, being under the canopy was great. Lots to see and do and we enjoyed our little getaway.

This was a super cool KOA! We booked a tent site, which was very nice. I wish I had looked ahead to book a Teepee or a Wagon site, which looked very cool. The store on site is stocked well and the employees are all really nice and very helpful. The bathrooms are very clean and the showers were hot!
This is a beautiful little spot way out there, but a nice lake to swim when its hot. The campgrounds were nice but we didn't end up staying because it was too hot at that time. Would definitely return again though when its cooler weather.
