not a lot of choices with power for the AC in the area.
the bad: scrungy parking lot behind the casino. sites a bit unlevel but fixed with blocks.
the good: the casino has a decent diner and basic bar. very nice bathrooms (once you are in them). wifi at the site. supermarket and laundry.
Timber Cove is a ramshackle collection of sites on the bluff between the highway and the ocean. A few sites have excellent views and others none at all. The bathroom and clean with decent coin-op showers. Electric and water for RV sites but don’t think about bringing a large RV (30’ is about it). WiFi is good if you are close to the house but may not work in your RV. Road down to the cove provides access for boaters etc.

excellent area with many spots. the best are shaded and close to the river.
road is very rough the last 500' but there is a small lot for lower clearance vehicles.
hot springs a mile upstream and across river
river should be around 200-300 cfs for a nice crossing.
3 tubs over looking river with the middle being hottest
a couple nice tent camping spots nearby on the hot spring side of the river

we just overnighted here, but really liked it. we got a lovely shaded pull through for $20. for another $10 there were 3 sites with power but in the sun. best campground shower ever. you can enjoy the creek or the lake with kayak/SUP rental near the entrance
