We loved our March stay here at Honesuckle Meadows. Check-in was easy. The campground is a mix of nightly visitors and permanent spots. We were here in March and really appreciated how quiet it was compared to how insane the tons of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge were. Ice cream was nearby (Mountain Brothers and Peaceful Side) and Peaceful Side even has a brewery/restaurant attached to the ice cream shop and a little playground for the kids to play at. Close to the entrance of GSMNP. Would definitely recommend if you want a quieter, no frills option! There is a pool, but it wasn't open in March. Wifi was also really spotty near the sites, you have to walk closer to the front to get a good signal. Would definitely stay again!

Really beautiful off the road campground. Only 9 sites, but really great. As others said, it’s really close to the main road, but traffic wasn’t too bad especially at night. The creek was beautiful and provided a lot of fun for our kids throwing rocks. We even took our camping chairs down there and stuck our feet in the water for a refresh. Someone came through to check camping passes and change garbage. Would definitely come back!

Clean campground, really close to Twin Cities. Nice playground in the east loop (with really spacious sites). Our site, 36, had shade and a bit more room than other sites in the west loop. The camp office also had a little library and snacks for sale. Would def stay again!

We arrived pretty late after a bad weather detour. Stayed in site 3- it was level. The sites in the circles were close together, but other sites were much more spacious. Camp hosts were kind and we even go to enjoy the beach and got some swimming in! Would definitely stay again next time we’re in Nashville.

Great campground. We stayed near the playground with big, open spots. We loved that you could get to beaches, restaurants, coffee, hiking, etc in 8 min. Definitely a great campground to stay at with friends too, with bike paths easily accessible and nearby.

We stayed here for a night while exploring the Apostle Islands. Simple county park, easy check-in process.
It’s all walk-ins- a lot of seasonal campers there, but there were a number of open spots. Almost no shaded spots. Great wooden playground and beach with a nature trail. Definitely would stay here again if we come back!
