Little bit tight, space-wise. Clean restrooms. Right on a busy road, but it's walled in like a courtyard, so you get some separation from the noise. Location is very convenient. Good trees for shade.

Pros:
VERY close to Rainier. Like a minute away. Pretty area. Nice campground. Some road noise, but mostly pretty quiet.
Cons:
Wifi was in and out. When it was working the speed was all over the map. Not a huge deal on its own, but there is almost no cell signal here and too much tree cover for satellite internet to work, so you're depending on the provided wifi for connectivity.
They have laundry onsite, but only one washer and dryer. We were there for a week and the dryer was out of order the whole time. Not a huge deal on its own, but when you're travelling in an RV, you don't have room to hang things to dry. Even if you did, you're in the PNW and it's too damp for them to dry anyway. Big disappointment when you've been on the road a while and the laundry is a primary reason to book the place. (Note: I spoke to someone at the office about this. They said they rent the machines and are not allowed to work on them. All they can do is put in a work order. I totally understand. But when it's something people count on... No apology, no "let me give you some free firewood or a 10% discount on your stay," no nothing.)
Firewood was something like $7 for a small bundle. You had to pay another $2 or $3 for a bundle of kindling. Ouch.
The cons may seem like nothing big, but add up when you're paying much more than the other parks in the area.
PS - Nearby Himalayan restaurant (Wildberry) is excellent.

Sites are all back-in and very close to each other. We are in a 16' trailer. Only way to get into our site was to pull forward into the site across from us, then back into ours. If the sight across had been occupied, would've been super difficult. But the staff was nice, the location was good. Short drive to Garden of the Gods. Would we camp here again? I dunno, maybe.
Good cell service (att). Good wifi. Sites are pull-through. Clean restrooms. Nice walking path that circles the park (saw a roadrunner). On the edge of town, but Santa Fe is small, so it's only 10-15 minutes from downtown. Close to Santa Fe Brewing Company.

No complaints at all. Beautiful campground, big sites, lots of nice trees, but still enough open sky to use starlink, cell service was solid (Verizon), bathrooms were clean, close to the canyon. Will definitely stay here again.
*One thing: we were here in mid May, before it got crazy. Who knows how things change during the busy season.*

Beautiful spot--the lake, the oak trees with spanish moss. Lake views from every site. Tons of giant white pelicans in the lake while we were there, plenty of kingfishers as well. Quiet, peaceful.
The bathrooms are old and in bad shape. No wifi. Practically no cell service. Had to drive into Hattiesburg to get reception and download what I needed for work.
Would definitely stay here again, tho.

Pros:
• Very pretty
• Quiet
• Friendly host
• Was very underbooked when we were there
• Close to store and visitor center
• Close enough to the rim to walk there for sunrise or sunset (about .5 mile)
Cons:
• Far from south rim/Grand Canyon village (about 35 minutes)
• No trails anywhere nearby
• Only one small bathroom for the whole campground (even tho the campground was pretty empty relative to available sites, the bathrooms were ALWAYS busy, especially in the morning - be prepared to wait)
• Cell service was very spotty (Verizon)
• Even tho we booked a trailer site, the site they booked us in was really just a back-in car site. Had to park our truck diagonally and almost touching the camper as all 4 wheels must be on the pavement.
Would stay again, but it definitely wouldn't be the first choice.

Pros:
Location - you can't beat it. The coast is drop-dead gorgeous, a real stunner. The place is on First Beach, which is very nice. Short walk to Second Beach which is even nicer. Otherwise, it's a long way from everything, in a very good way. Staff is very nice. On-site coffee stand, which is cool because we ran out of coffee halfway through our stay.
Cons:
2 campgrounds, one is the "resort side" and one is the Lonesome Creek Campground. Make sure you know which one they're booking you into. The resort side is mch quieter, more open. Lonesome Creek side feels like you're camping at a music festival - the spaces are pretty tightly packed together; feels like not enough space for the amount of people; fireworks were going off fairly late into the night.
Fires are allowed on the beach (with permit) but people weren't really cleaning up the burnt logs and charred paper.
Generally just a bit un-tidy.
The Lonesome Creek side is a very long walk from the small bath house/laundry facility so there are loads of portapotties everywhere - not fun to see or smell.

We looked at this place as a stopover as we were passing through, but it was so nice we stayed 2 nights to take a day off from driving. Has a great mid-century Florida vibe.
As everyone mentions, the walls of oleander bushes between sights are the best. Privacy from your neighbors and also beautiful. Also lots of citrus trees and palm trees. Great site if you're a birder - doves, quails, vireos, nighthawks.
Level site, everything was clean and tidy. Staff very friendly.
Full cell service for ATT - can see 2 or 3 cell towers from the park.

• Quiet
• Solid cell service (Verizon)
• Close to everything
• All sites are pull through
Cons:
• Sites are pretty close together
• Not much to look at
• Not enough room to park your vehicle, so you just have to park on the gravel where your picnic table is
