Glimmerglass is a beautiful state park. The campground isn't too big. Sites are nicely spaced, there is some vegetation between sites. Everyone in the office was friendly. We stayed in site 28, it was very unlevel. Most sites looked unlevel. Bathrooms were a bit messy (water all over the floor from shower). Aside from that (and some neighbors playing music all day long) we enjoyed our stay. The actual state park and Ostego Lake are gorgeous. A few nice hiking trails. Close to The Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. We stayed mid-September so the beach was deserted. The primitive sites looked like they would be fun places to camp.

Our site was plenty big for our 25ft trailer. Pretty level. Campground road is narrow, might be difficult for big rigs, although we did see some Class A's here. The lake is beautiful. Some sites are right on the water. I would get a water site next time. Campground is about a 30 minute drive into Nashville. 3Mbps download speed on Verizon, unboosted. We stayed here mid-September.

This is a good campground if you want to visit Ocean Springs, Biloxi and Gulf Islands National Seashore, particularly the boat excursion to Ship Island. If you don't do any of those things, then it's just a basic campground. It's fairly small. Some spots are pretty close together. Ours (#23) was almost too short for our 25 foot trailer, but we made it work. We were right by the dump station, and we could smell it occasionally. Internet was slow in the evening, most likely due to overwhelmed cell tower. Showers were good, individual rooms with locking doors, and hooks for your stuff. It's a good value overall, $22 for water and electric.

Our GPS sent us the wrong way and we ended up not going in through the main entrance. This added over 30 minutes of narrow, curvy road onto our trip. Make sure you enter the park by the visitor's center. The building doesn't have any signage and looks kind of like a maintenance building, but that's where you check-in. Staff at the visitor's center confirmed GPS has sent others the wrong way, so make sure you check your route. We had no cell signal (even when boosted) on Verizon or AT&T. Our site was fairly level, but steep drop-offs on other side, so there wasn't a lot of room to walk by once we were parked. Other than that it's a decent campground. 30 minute drive from Memphis. Stayed here in mid-September.

This was a nice campground. Road heading in was very bumpy. Office staff was nice but maybe overworked. We unfortunately got a site right across from the office. Would have preferred to look out over Lake Ontario but campground was full. We arrived on a Saturday and stayed until Monday. It emptied out quite a bit Sunday morning, so it became nice and quiet. Our site (#4) was fairly level, on grass. All sites had at least one shade tree. Bathrooms seemed clean, didn't use the showers. Our cost of $35.50 a night included a non-NY resident fee and a Reserve America fee. But we got free parking at Niagara Falls because that is also a State Park! Four Mile is located about 30 minutes from Niagara Falls.

Check-in was quick and friendly. We had site 17, on the bluff overlooking Lake Erie. All the sites overlooking the lake are spectacular. Our site was level side-to-side but sloped downwards a bit. We were there Monday to Thursday so it was pretty empty except for the lake view sites. I'm sure it gets crowded on weekends, like most parks. The bathrooms were basic but clean. I did not checkout the showers. The rest of the State Park was beautifully maintained. Tons of benches and picnic tables scattered around. Trail was not great. Easy walk in the woods, not a real hike. Would definitely stay here again.
