One of our favorite campgrounds we stayed at during our cross-country road trip. The location is very convenient to outdoor activities and several cool towns. The campground itself was wooded with spacious sites. There are a ton of family activities and a swimming pool and pond. There are several nature trails throughout the campground for running/walking and everyone there seemed very friendly (staff and other guests).
Nice campground with friendly staff. The sites were large and easy to access pull-through sites. We appreciated the playground and pool for our daughter and it is conveniently located to many amenities. We needed some camper repairs and the campground was next to an RV sales/service center. They even came to us to check out our camper.
Very nice rural campground with a lake that is open for swimming. The staff was very friendly and helped guide us to our site. There is a nice running/walking trail around the lake and a good playground for kids. We only stayed one night, so we didn't use many of the other amenities, but it was a nice stay!
We had a really great experience with our stay here. We did not plan on stopping here, but we had camper trouble that needed work done. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful from right when we arrived until we left. When we pulled up, they guided us to our spot and helped us back in (as a new-RVer this was especially helpful). When the repairs on our camper took longer than expected, they let us extend our stay even though they were fully booked. They have a great community and have all kinds of family-oriented events. We happened to be there for their Christmas in July event that featured a camper decorating contest and Santa giving gifts to kids. We weren't planning on participating, but the staff encouraged us to and even gave us a gift to give our daughter. It is a family oriented campground full of great people. We didn't originally plan to stop here, but we are glad we found this hidden gem!

We only stayed at this campground for one night, so we didn't use many of the amenities, but it seemed like a nice campground. The campground was wooded with plenty of shade and there were many activities- a lake, heated pool, nice playground for kids. We stayed at a pull-through site with plenty of room. The staff was very friendly and responsive.
This campground is conveniently located to many great outdoor activities. The campground was very secure with a 24-hour gate house that checked vehicles coming to the campground. The sites in our section were large, pull-through sites situated in a large gravel parking lot, but there were several other sections including one that runs along the Shenandoah River. There was a great pool with a large kids section that we especially appreciated.
We only stayed for one night, so we did not use many of the amenities, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating when we had to make a last minute reservation. The sites were nice with lots of shade from mature trees and there was plenty of room between the sites.
Nice quiet campground. Very large gravel spaces with concrete pads, easy access to hiking trails. No wifi and limited other amenities, but a great price!
