Our site was a gravel site that was mostly level. We had full hookups. If you stay in one of the sites towards the back, just be aware that getting to the sites, it’s a little hilly in some areas. There are full hookups, water/electric only, and primitive tent only sites available. They also have a lot of family friendly activities and a lake that you can swim in during the summer. Overall, great place. I would highly recommend.

Oh yes, this park was clean, friendly and the amenities had us all busy and happy during this awful pandemic. Such a blessing to land here because our kids were already miserable after one night driving from NY to PA. Thank you, Woodside! You showed our girls that RVing can be entertaining so much so that they begged to stay longer and already want to go back. That we will when we drive back East. They swam safely under lifeguard supervision in the pristine lake that offers floating trampolines, slides and docks with a beautiful beach to plop. The game room would shame most home basements that we convert into family/play rooms. Full hook up with easy access to dumpsters. Small hiking trail to take Fido and Uber for those who want to jump into town to get a mani/pedi to revive their claws after months in quarantine! (Thank you D'Art of Nails by Diane for your awesome service and ride back to the park).
We cannot come up with any negatives whatsoever, just get on your rig and go. You will not be disappointed.

I was sad we couldn’t stay longer! Sites were very well maintained but it did seem like most of the sites were designated for full time trailers. They had a game room and swimming pond. Only about 30 min away from the national park. Only complaint was that the site was a bit small.

Surrounded by farm land, Woodside is a surprising oasis between Cleveland & Akron OH. Cuyahoga NP is a short drive. Provisioning requires a bit of a drive in different directions depending on what you're looking for. Costco is in Boston Heights, Target, Lowes & Walmart are in Streetsboro, Tractor Supply is in Ravenna as examples. Woodside has a well developed man-made lake with a groomed beach, water toys & rentals. Park is open for day-use by locals so can be crowded in the summer. Lake also offers catch & release only fishing. Game room is off the charts with state of the art electronic games & some old-school like Foosball. Decent laundry, restrooms & showers, but could use an upgrade. Sites include seasonal mix of park models, TT's, & Class A's with travel temporary sites, some spacious some close together. Drives & sites are gravel; some sites have no grass. Decent utilities but the WiFi offered by SkyWeb is not included in the daily rental. AT&T cell service seems to outperform Verizon but both are acceptable for streaming in addition to regular cell calls. Camp has about six 'loops' or RV "neighborhoods" interspersed with woods & open spaces. Camp also offers seven cabins for rent and 10 tent-only sites all within there own areas. Camp offers three playgrounds in their respective areas. There is a hiking trail but not on the camp map (we never journeyed it to the end).

Follow the directions provided on their website. Ellington is a narrow roller coaster road to get there, but it was fine in our 35' MH and toad. 95% of the spaces here are seasonal residents, all neat and well maintained. The overnight pull-throughs are nice with shade trees (our 5er neighbor had to be very careful with hanging branches). We were able to connect our satellite that is mounted on the top front of our rig. 30 amp FHUs, sewer is a little uphill but we could dump fine. Dirt, level site with some grass in our small space.
We stayed here to to see the Pro Football HOF in Canton to the south. The park's lake has several inflatable slides and other toys with a nice beach and grass area to enjoy the water. All the kids were having a wonderful time.

Stayed Friday and Saturday during March 2022. Campground was very quiet and half full. Weather was great. Contrarily, Cuyahoga NP was very busy. Campground utilities were very good. They were just opening for the season and had a couple issues with fresh water. It was quickly remedied. Staff was friendly and engaging. Sites are level, gravel based, and spacious. Our site was in low loop. (Deer Run) may be an issue if recently rained.

Campground with so much potential but missed the mark. 50amp plug is at front of campsite so we could only reach 30amp. Showers were extremely old and dirty so we all took turns showering in our camper after the first night. While kids loved the lake inflatables, it’s $5 person and non-campers are able to buy day passes so it got very crowded. Wi-Fi is pay by the day. Pull thru sites are extremely close together. In a pinch, this place is doable.
This place was wonderful. It was a great first night stop on our cross country road trip. Our five kids absolutely loved the lake swimming area and floating inflatable fun and the bargain price of only $5 ea. for the day, was an added bonus. We enjoyed the game room and horse shoe play as well. We missed the bingo night but that just means we may have to return to see if we can win some cash and Prizes next time. The staff here was very helpful and accommodated us with a hose for water as we couldn’t find ours until right before we left. Of course. Only con was the distance from the sewage pipe to the RV at our site. If we got close enough we couldn’t level the RV. Other than that little hiccup the Williams Brood highly recommends this place, especially with kids. SIDE NOTE: they do not sell ice or have postcards.
