We are enroute to Louisiana and are staying off the beaten path. We arrived after state park closed so opted to stay here. So happy no one else had gotten here first as the sun set. Love the Piney Woods!

Needed a place to spend the night and found this great lot next to the Horseshoe Casino. We were able to gamble a bit and then get a restful night in our rig before heading south. Felt safe and in the morning was greeted by an employee of the Horseshoe who was picking up trash. Mostly semis park there for a rest since it is right off the I-20. There are potholes but we were able to maneuver around and find nice level place to park.

Dump here and then head to 299 E. Teller next to the ballpark of East side to get your potable water. Thank You, Campendium!

We hit weather heading west on I-70 and we’re happy that this spot was freeway close. When we pulled in, we saw that it was mostly empty but had a storm shelter in case the tornado siren went off. Was THRILLED to find super clean bath house AND laundromat!!!! Only reason giving it 4 stars is because some sites need some TLC, like our cable TV cord was cut off.

We are on this anti-people roadtrip because of this pandemic. When we saw that it was storming, we tried to figure out where to go as we left Carlsbad, NM and needed to head west. Thanks to previous reviews and Weather.com, we found this place. It fit us PERFECT!. And to have cell service made hunkering down while it snowed, even better!

Driving through Bowie to this spot seemed sketchy but once we got to this idyllic spot so close to I-10, we were hooked. Great cell service. If you want to stay in a spot for a day or two in your self contained travel trailer, then this is your place! Unfortunately, we had business to take care of in El Paso so we had to motor on.

As we meander through Arizona, escaping rain, we found ourselves getting close to Globe. Since the ‘boondocking’ sites were a bit too close to the Gila River for our comfort with rain predicted in the next 24 hours, this place popped up on the Campendium app. Place is right next to the historic downtown. Managers are super helpful and friendly. WiFi was slow, but helpful to have since it was time to do a software update on our devices. The train whistle in the middle of the night was a fun reminder that we really are on the road. Gave it four stars only because of the road noise and that train...
