I stayed last 2 nights. Host John was polite and pleasant. I was in site 17. Nothing to really see and spots in my opinion are quite close together. This site would be good for 2 families. It’s a good ways off hwy 101. Like maybe 20 minutes. My site had power and water which I wasn’t expecting. Site cost I thought was high but we are on CA and in wine country plus with hook ups I guess it was at par.

I stayed here for 2 days in spot 90 with my son. The spots around me are about the only RV spots that have any privacy. Spotty Verizon cell service. The campground has WiFi, but I was too far from it to access it. Clean restrooms. 2 kids parks and a dog park. Power and water at each hook up. Walking distance to Russian river. My only issue is not with my campsite but with other RV spots. They are pretty packed together. Lots of great room for kids to bike and walk around. Local store has a huge selection to fill needs.

Stayed in campsite 206. Backs up to a fenced off area with view of the east. Very large campsite. Which is one reason I love this place. Staff is nice. Place is very clean. Limited facilities. Port of potties are somewhat close but most camp in rvs. They seems to clean potties once every other day. Beach acess is easy. Just gotta climb a big a$$ hill in the sand.

Campground is closed Monday Tuesday. I haven’t camped here yet. It drive by it years ago. Went to check it out yesterday. Very clean looking. They have a sprinkler system so to see green grass here really makes it look inviting. Sits right by a rushing water creek. It gets hot here it was 96 on Monday 8/3. No cell service. Very remote area so should be quiet

I was very skeptical about staying here blind. We got site 1 and 2. Huge campsite with a canopy of tall oaks. Little close to freeway but not too loud. Kind of like white noise. Very secure facility security always around. CJ. The state park police is as friendly as they come. River access is across street and is free. Don’t park to close to river bank and get stuck like me. You can walk there but it’s a little trot. Definitely coming back

I stay here quite a bit. Place is very clean very well monitored. Lots of wildlife. Usually see 4-6 deer per day. Then lots of raccoons and squirrels. Not campfires or charcoal use right now as it’s still fire season here. Lots of hiking trails and plenty of room to bicycle. Boat launch and lots of fishing. Clear lake gets a bad rap loa lot but this place is an oasis.

I camped here in April 2021. The facility was quite empty. I was able to reserve a spot by emailing. Although it can take a day or 2 for them to respond. While empty the facility was nice but it could really use some landscaping work. I would go back. For my needs of just getting away it was perfect

I’ve camped here many times. Sometimes just to get away or some days just to ride my motorcycle. Either way it’s always great. Your neighbors are all motorcycle people so they are all nice. Yes during the day you will here dirtbikes but never heard anyone being obnoxious. Place is usually quiet after 4 pm. The sun setting over the hills is beautiful. Bunch of camp sites very rarely like never is the facility full. It’s only $8 a night so it’s not perfect. I tend to clean up my campsite from previous guest and help tidy area.
