Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on May 23, 2023Reserved a camping spot at the Cache Creek Regional Park, and had a wonderful weekend.
This place brings nature and humanity close, people can engage with the natural surroundings and have some fun. Remember to respect everything you see and touch there. There were people that were shouting and throwing garbage everywhere.. but were soon told not to, by the staff.
The campground contains everything, a small shop with food and water supplies, a shop with camping supplies and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
So don't miss visiting this place while being in Rumsey.
Campground is closed Monday Tuesday. I haven’t camped here yet. It drive by it years ago. Went to check it out yesterday. Very clean looking. They have a sprinkler system so to see green grass here really makes it look inviting. Sits right by a rushing water creek. It gets hot here it was 96 on Monday 8/3. No cell service. Very remote area so should be quiet

Hadn't been here in years and we had such a pleasant 1 night stay mid-week, off season. The sites can be very un-level asphalt so if you have a RV choose wisely...Lots of green grass, blooming Redbud bushes and wildflowers during our spring visit. Central shower/ bathhouse with tokens. We would definitely stay here again during the quiet season only. The river is close by to swim in during the hot summer.

The toilets kept stopping up,
The park water slowed to a trickle,
The bathrooms are NOT clean,
No toilet paper, or soap,
It smelled real bad from full septic tanks,
There is garbage everywhere,
The camphost was rude,
And was giving the shower token money away to his kids,,,
Also he let people party with loud music until midnight
