1st time in a Wally-World parking lot and found it very acceptable . Parked at the east end by the garden centre with 6-8 Mid sized RVs without checking in, as reviews on line said it was not necessary. Other sites spoke highly of the location so thought we would give it a try as we were catching an early ferry. All worked out well for us, but we like boondocking and dry camping. Little bit of road noise (not so bad as most parks by the Interstates) but level and convenient for provisions.

We stayed in mid Sept and only 6 other campers in the park.
Well manicured and large sites with choice of on the river with lots of trees for shade ($45 /30amp) or open field site ($35 /15amp, we choose the sunny location) and 100 ft walk to the river.
Level, good river access, shallow rapids make it a great spot to cool off on a hot summers day.
Enjoyed a quiet night and recommend it to anyone passing through for a night or two or more if you like swimming and tubing.

Somehow messed up my reservation online (wife will tell you it’s not the first time) and arrived to a full park. Was told that overflow parking would cost $11 and includes wifi and washroom access. We are self contained so didn’t use any of the services but found this town and park to be very friendly.
Rec center paved parking lot across the street by a playground. Felt very comfortable staying there as did the other 8-10 RVers on site. Well off the highway so noise was minimal.

Called last minute and had no problem getting a 3 way site. Both pull through and back in available on a busy August weekend. Washrooms were spotless and laundry $2/load. Sites reasonably spaced out. Easy access from the TransCanada highway, and close (900mtr) to great little Masstown market, Catch of The Bay fish store/restaurant and more stores.

Some noise carryover from the highway, but not bothersome for sitting out or sleeping.

Mixed treed and open sites with gravel pads. Lots of big trees.
Washrooms were very clean. Showers clean but rustic.
Laundry $2 ea.
Bell 2 bars, T-Mobile 2 bars.
Wifi only available in office area.
Heated pool for the kids.
Great family park and lots of kids around the 1st week in July.
We drove in on a Wednesday night and park was only 1/2 full, though July long weekend was apparently fully booked.
Good spot to overnight, but not much close by for longer stays.

Nice for seasonal and families with lots of kid stuff on site but can accommodate lots of transients too.
This is a busy camp at the junction of the Cabot Trail so is frequently at near capacity. Having said that they were able to fit us in in July and September without a reservation.
Good location to spend a couple of nights (leave the big rig) for the Trail loop.
WiFi is pretty slow but phone coverage is good so if you have a good data plan you’ll be okay
2 &3 way sites ( 30ft wide 60ft deep but easy access ) with 30 & 50 amp.
Office made us welcome and escorted us to our site.
We use all our on coach facilities so can’t comment on the showers etc.

This park is located in a heavily wooded area with very large and private sites.
Easy walk down to the beach on the trails provided but even easier walking back the road.
Being in a wooded area the mosquitoes were plentiful even in the end of September which may have been related to a wet summer.
No wi-fi and phone service was limited so Wi-Fi access was poor at best.
Best to go into the park and find a site before booking online if you are in the shoulder season.
Great place for camping in the woods.

Caution- Google Maps will put you in a farmers field 30 km up a dirt road. Make sure you are going to Richer.
That said this is a really nice campground with friendly hosts and residents. Many seasonal and full time sites, which have some serious additions, as well about 35 moderate sized transients, which were less than half full in mid-week. Only about 4 pull thru with full service. I’m sure the owners will try to accommodate everyone as best they can and are in the office until 9pm daily.
Our rate was Passport America but power and water sites are typically $35-40/nite.
Washer $1.50, dryer $1, only 2 of each, which were not busy while we were here.
Super quiet overnight, with some kiddies noise (the sounds of children having fun does not bother us) around the playground during the day. We were offered a more private site but choose to be closer to the “action”.
WiFi only available close to the office/pool and was adequately quick.
Bell coverage was only 1-2 bars. Slow but functional.
Large common club house for groups to eat, game or watch movies.
Showers and washrooms adequate 5/10.

Full service campground that is very clean quiet and friendly. Very large sites with shade smaller trees or full sun if you move up a little on your site.
Several very large drive through.
Good access to the highway but being 1km away there’s no road noise.
Bathrooms have only 1 toilet and shower in each of the restrooms, but clean.
Wifi is available in the office areas and in sites close to office but fades after 3 sites out.
Bell coverage 3 bars.
We thought this park to be very good value, compared to many we have stayed in.

Arrived at 4pm on a Saturday and only 2 other RV’s on the lot.
No sites available in any of the other campgrounds for 50 miles so we were pretty happy to get in here for free, particularly after spending 2 nights in San Francisco at $100/night.
As per previous reviewer, all was easily sorted out on arrival and good location to visit other parks when everything else is full.
Not sure about the rough sea comment, lot is fully paved and very level.
As casino lots go, this one is very quiet and private with easy access and a decent restaurant.
