When I called, customer service said that RV's can park on the side of the building, which is by the garden dept. There were already several RV's in the area. It was really quiet and no road noise due to being in the back part of the lot. Plenty of parking, lot is level and well lit. Great place to spend the night.
there were about a dozen rigs/vans/etc when we pulled in around dinner and many more by the time we went to bed.
Felt safe and had no issues with noise. Made friends with other travelers in the parking lot.
No complaints- but can’t give a plain old parking lot 5 stars
1st time in a Wally-World parking lot and found it very acceptable . Parked at the east end by the garden centre with 6-8 Mid sized RVs without checking in, as reviews on line said it was not necessary. Other sites spoke highly of the location so thought we would give it a try as we were catching an early ferry. All worked out well for us, but we like boondocking and dry camping. Little bit of road noise (not so bad as most parks by the Interstates) but level and convenient for provisions.
It's a WalMart parking lot. Nothing super special. We've stayed in a lot of Wal-Marts in the PNW. But this one is the quietest we've ever stayed in!
Park by the Garden Center and make sure you shop in the store (as a thank you). Please do your part to keep it clean and quiet.
We called to ask to parks for one night (as it is Walmart’s policy to call) and they said they no longer allow it. But the Walmart right down the road in Sequim said yes!
So, I've seen the recent reviews that this Walmart does not allow overnights. I found that to not be the case. I've used it as a base of operations for 3 nights now as I explore the Olympic Peninsula and surrounding areas. There have been anywhere from 8-12 rigs parked each night. Store closes at 11PM.. Area was clean, well lit and quiet after store closing. Most if not all of the rigs were parked on the garden supply end of the store. As always, I make a store purchase each day and am sure to not leave any trash behind. Thank you Walmart!
By the time we arrived, there were already handful of RVs. We asked the cashier if we could stay overnight, as we were grabbing few items. They said 24 hours is perfectly fine. Very friendly staff and clean bathroom!
Stayed here Sunday night 12/12/12. Right off the highway so you can hear road noise. Parked over by the garden center. Felt safe, no one bothered me. Would stay again.
This worked well for an overnight stay. Lots of campers of all sizes staying. We planned on staying downtown by Jesse Webster park & while there was space & no signs prohibiting, we felt unsafe owing to the amount of strange looking types yelling at no-one or at everyone 😳.
We stayed in front of Walmarts garden center and weren’t really bothered by the road traffic. Thanks yet again Walmart.
Stayed a couple nights in a row on/off while we were having RV engine issues. No issues and several other RVs stayed the night here as well near the garden area. No complaints
Love Walmart! Always ample of parking space and great to restock up on items (Try to shop here if possible… Support them so they keep supporting RVers by letting you stay here for free)
