I arrived about 2pm. The store clerk took my info and charged $52canadian. It’s a lot with room so if I had slides, I bet they could open with room left over. They don’t have internet, but I have great signal on AT&T with data and it works very well.

I arrived on a Saturday, office closed. There was all the info I needed on what to do to check in to a spot, unfortunately all they had was overflow, but that’s okay, I have solar batteries for a few days…. The overflow spot was pretty nice, though few spots had shade. I was here 4/01-4/02/23, and the temp was nice with a bit of a cross-breeze. Something I never considered in my travels was WIND. I’m a tiny, 14ft Sportsmen, and left El Paso early (because of gusts) to get here to find tomorrow noonish gusts would be 44mph. In El Paso, I was concerned, while 45mph wind gusts rocked my little trailer. Do wind gusts flip trailers over? I’m a newbie, so I don’t know. Hoping my next stop in Arizona does not have that kind of wind. But this place is nice. Bathrooms clean, had showers. Close to Air Museum.

There are two military FamCamps: one on-base called Annex, one just off-base called Gateway where I parked. I given a spot next to an open grassy field so no one was near me. The cement and blacktop pads and parking were were level... I stayed a week in preparation to cross the Canadian border, which is 2.5 hrs away. Close to a veterinarian (off base) for getting shots and documents for crossing into Canada and Alaska… the park host and wife were really nice, bathrooms clean, and the base gate-guards gave awesome directions to the library. Wi-Fi was weak and is unsecured so I didn’t use it. Good gym and library on base.

I arrived in early afternoon. Sites are level concrete drive-thru. Medium-height trees in most sites give afternoon shade. Near highway but that doesn’t bother me. Easy to find on GPS. Military Express shop for gas, this is first time I saw sign “limit 24 gallons”.

Checkin was easy because I reserved online. Young man who gave me map to my site was friendly. I stayed one night, but should’ve reserved more time! This park is next to a lake, has picnic areas along lakefront, and there’s a great swimming beach. Really good space between sites. There was even some kind of “Tiki event”, though I didn’t attend. I took a walk 1/2 way up to Observation Point. Cell signal good, I was able to stream my favorite series and watch YouTube.
I was awakened at 3am to high winds, and since I was at Sunset Ridge which is on hill overlooking the lake, and was perfect for me in the evening. But the wind gusts of 45mph were making me nervous - I am in a small, 14ft travel trailer and the rocking was concerning. I pulled up stakes and drove down the hill, parking at the side of the road. The winds were still rocking my trailer, but I felt much more safe…
High winds aside, I love this park. I wish I’d made it a two-night stay so I could make it all the way up to the Point or to hang at the lake longer. Nice place.
Be sure to make reservations, the fill up quickly on weekends. Price was $34.88us.

I stopped here in Deming, NM on the way to Albuquerque, it’s half-way… cute little town. The Visitor Center is just up the road, and worth a stop… The RV Park is clean and very level gravel. I only used electric because I was saying only one night. The bathrooms are very clean. In women’s bathroom, there is one handicapped shower, and one regular shower. Toilet stalls are also one handicapped and one regular. Two clean sinks. Laundry iron is also in this building. Clean (yes, I like clean!).

Came in about 2:30pm. There’s a little kitchen where they make homemade baked items. Great scones. There’s a little gift shop that carries a variety of trinkets, scarves, art, and various holistic items like lotions and creams. Nice workers. Clean bathrooms & showers. I’ll stop on my way back. They have internet, but I couldn’t get a good signal to even download audible books at a decent speed.

Arrived about 2:30, had a 5-7 min small wait while other RVs checked in. Offers several kinds of discounts, which I always appreciate. My site was A13, a back-in with water and electric - didn’t need sewer since I dumped before I left last park - which is nice that my site was a bit less expensive because my site didn’t have a dump. Showers were fine, clean. I’m guessing others must stay at those fancy-pants, expensive RV Resorts because they rate some places lower than I do… There was a guy with a truck at entrance repairing part of paved drive. Gravel interior roads were fine, my site was in the grass near the playground, which my cats loved watching kiddos pass by on their way to play, haha. Big trees will give wonderful shade, but this early May the leaves are just coming in. My site was pretty level though I was leaving next morn, so I didn’t unhitch… oh, and the friendly camp-kitty looked so much like my cat, I verified mine was still in his crate in the car!

My site was 46, site was level gravel. Even close to road, it was quiet. A train was somewhere in distance, I heard the whistles during daytime.
Clean, clean laundry room: takes credit/debit cards so no quarters needed, $1.90 for one, $2.45 for other. Clothes got dry without adding time.
Clean, clean showers and toilets. You get a room with shower and toilet all to yourself.
I would definitely stay here again.
(But hwy 70 sucks - I drove to/from Alaska and I would swear hwy 70 was like the worst of the AlCan Hwy!!)

I stayed here twice, on way to/from Alaska. Clean RV park, close to city where you’ll find what you need like grocery store, pet store, tires, fast food, restaurants. Bathrooms were cleaned daily. At junction of Alaska Hwy (hence name ‘Mile 0’) and highways 97 south to Prince George and 2/43 to Edmonton.. staff were kind and friendly, I was able to stay an extra night and they fit me into their busy RV park. Recommend reservations, especially for long RVs. I am in a 14ft with Suburban, and their backin site was long enough that I didn’t have to disconnect if I didn’t want to.
