Dump station with minimal pressure water for black tank rinse

I arrived on a hot Sunday to my pre-reserved spot unfortunately and most of the reason for 4 stars they wired the spot at the road not at rear of 60 foot back in spot. So I’m road weary trying to pull off ratchet straps to get to my ladder to get into my rooftop Thule for my never before used extension cord. Was advertised as 30 amp but 50 amp plug so gla I had a dogbone adapter. Clean and neat free showers for campers. Although cell service is not great.

First do not trust Apple Maps the correct address is 2443 not 2182 so do not try to get here off 21st you will wind up in a field on a two track farm road with no way to turn around and no signal if AT&T. Great little place large pull they’d with fire pits with grill over for a great rate. Great bathrooms and showers and meat for sale on site. I am coming back every year.

No rinse or potable water that I saw just a pit in ground with a hose you can attach to rig. Glad I prescouted it';s a bit awkward but I made it work.

I’m parked for free on parking lot next to a 30 amp pedestal but shouldn’t need it with my solar revolve ev2. Which is good because power is out at pedestals right now. A little road and parking lot noise but level safe and have power if I need it for heat down to 41 tonight. Super nice and gracious staff and thinking about a hot casino breakfast in the morning.

First don’t turn left off the exit 6 southbound you will wind up on 7 miles of steep narrow switchbacks. Roadwork in area so confusing. Fairly peaceful and great views 4 bars on att

I looked at this place online and thought cute but prolly not my type of place. I work full time from trailer this place looks like it’s family oriented and social. Surprised they didn’t try to park me I prefer to to that myself. Amazing showers nice store great level pads and pet amenities including a dog wash station.

When I started to pull in I saw a rig and knowing it’s a small gravel spot I almost headed to a hotel but pulled in anyway. Nice chill guy maybe 30 living his best van life I turned around pulled as far forward as I could to give us space and asked if it was cool I parked there. Calmed my protective shepherd down and settled in for night it was a little warm and humid but the peace of being surrounded by corn fields was no joke gas about 10 miles away any direction Starbucks 24 miles east near interstate in mason City.

I used this park as a work week stopover and had a wonderful stay. Took advantage and picked up steaks to take to my sisters in Michigan.

This is my third trip and the new owners were very welcoming even though they had not fully reopened. Got my fave spot and when I say why I come back it’s because this place is not a lot of frills but meets my needs. I will be back again and again and Starlink works here.
