Well maintained campground. Steep hill as you enter. Impossible to turn left with our 42 ft with tow Class A. We had to drive past it and turn around so we could make an easy right turn into the campground. We were given an easy pull through site. No complaints, pleasant management. Great location to visit friends who work at Samaritans Purse in Boone. They took us on a great hike to Hebron Falls on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Well maintained park with all the normal rules and then some for our overnight stay. We had a site near the river that was a pull-in, back out with plenty of room for 42 foot Class A. Concrete patio. We had a great stay. Only negatives are that road noise can be heard, the fire-pit was shared-one per three sites and was a walk from site down to the River and picnic tables are small, fitting 3 comfortably. We unhooked Jeep and drove to Deep River campground near Bryson City for a fun river tubing experience.
The very friendly staff met us at the entrance and guided our 42 foot + tow. Very well maintained park, gravel pad on a grassy site under beautiful trees. We enjoyed a nice fire for the evening. Many long term campers but several sites open when we visited.
Looked nice from afar - wish we could have found parking for our RV - it was a busy Sunday afternoon in late June.
Friendly staff. Park is located in an industrial park and across from a cornfield. Office area has laundry and shower. Had a gravel pad pull-through site to accommodate our 42 foot with tow. Perfect location for us to spend time seeing our kids living in Union City. Most sites appear longer term, but several pull through sites near the extremely quiet road appeared available for overnights. I was fortunate to get a site as I only gave less than 24 hour notice. Will call further ahead next time. Walmart is within a mile or so away.
Cordial staff. Overnight stay with 42 ft +tow. Arrived after dark and staff met us and assisted in hitching tow and with guiding and backing into our site. Quiet, pleasant and restful campground for our one night stay.
