Easy access off the highway. There is some road noise (when truckers hit the rumble strips) and the occasional train. We came in late after a 500-mile day and the proprietor stayed late to welcome us and make sure we had everything we needed. There isn't much to the place, but it is clean and well-organized. The wi-fi is among the best we have encountered in 3000+ miles of travel.

We stay one night while transiting through Rt 17. We arrived fairly late and a nice man got up from his hammock to get his wife to check us in. They prefer cash however can take cards. She escorted us to our site where we enjoyed a quiet, lakeside spot with a fire pit and picnic table. Site was a pull through that was actually positioned on what looks like the access road.

Access via Rt17 is slow going as the approach road is in poor shape. Big rigs take it slow
Location is convenient and on a beautiful lake
Cleanliness is unknown, we did not use any facilities
Site quality is good, ours was a pull through that just had gravel tracks but nice fire pit and picinic table, service hookups were in terrific shape
Noise was super quiet even into late morning

DOES NOT TAKE CARDS, cash or check only

Owned by the same family for 52 years however it seems that is about as long as its been since it was last renovated or maintained. There is a pool, but you wont go in it, there is a bar and club house, but you wont go in it, and its surrounded by nature that you cant really get to. We stayed at a pull through spot situated across the street from the main park and our 33ft RV with Toad barely wriggled its way to the spot, larger RV's will have trouble. The site was grass and dirt. The 50 amp connection had no breaker and sites had no sewer. Thats not a problem for us however for $50 and no discounts available, the site should be pretty nice.

Access is about 10 minutes of 94 but the park is narrow and full of obstacles, both vehicles and low trees.
Location is nice, could hear a train but not too close.
Cleanliness needs help, specifically around the office and bar, sites were clear of any debris but dumpsters are inconveniently located
Site quality was not the worst but for the price it should be stellar.
Noise i could not say as there was a large thunderstorm during the majority of our overnight stay.

We stayed here with the intention of attending Fred's Lounge in nearby Mamou. We arrived with reservations and were quickly set up next to the barn and with a large "yard." The site was well maintained and the groundskeepers were out every single day maintaining the rest of the park and emptying trash. Our site had a large old growth tree shading it in the morning, sites nearer to the outside of the park had much more trees, some completely covered.
The staff was very approachable and helped with everything we could ask, where to eat, where to find firewood, and what was in the area. They opened the man-made lake beach early because of the 80 degree weather. On Saturday they had live music in the barn, which was a blast! Cheap canned and bottled beer is available both at the beach and the barn on saturdays. The beach and playgrounds were always occupied with kids but far enough away that you could escape the sounds of play. We cant speak to the fishing in the lake but we did see a few kiddos pull some up.
The nearby town has just about everything you need to make your stay. Lafayette is an hour away for anything else or a night out.
The only thing we could say needs improvement is the near constant weed-wacking from the grounds keepers.
The Wifi was one of the better we have experienced.
Access: all gravel drives and the entry is easy to miss, also a little torn up.
Location: feel like you're back at camp
Cleanliness: zero trash, well maintained grounds
Site quality: nice picnic benches, quality connections, could use some more gravel
Noise: Quiet mornings but weed-wacking mid-day, some play noise form kids but quiet time was quiet.

We called on short notice to get a spot for Mardi Gras and one night after and they had a spot for us. The park is a bit cramped as the previous review states however, our 33ft class A was not difficult with a bit of planning and the help of Marla, the owner. The park is fully fenced with the exception of the rear fence that was damaged in the recent tornados (2017). Accommodating to pets, our 60lb black lab was welcomed and a small dog walking area is set aside to spite having nearly every square inch of the property occupied. Marla rescues stray cats and there are a few that will make friends if you let them. It was nice to relax in the pavilion and have a furry companion. Marla ran the shuttle as well, which is less a "shuttle" and more her driving you and a few others in her mini-van into the easternmost section of the French Quarter but she does so with an arranged time and will even set up a meeting spot to rescue you. The WiFi is decent, however this is not the spot to stay in at, it is a spot to sleep and recharge at after exploring. Do not expect to find vast, paved plots with complimentary water features, this is fifteen minutes from downtown with full hook ups and a comfy hot tub.

Access- the right turn required to enter the park will require the use of both lanes of the two lane road its on for the larger rigs, especially with a toad.
Location- You're ten minutes from downtown... any better and you would be there.
Cleanliness- The tornado kind of messed things up for us
Site Quality- Grass with threaded sewer hookup and 50amp service
Noise - You are directly next to a trainyard

On short notice we made our way toward Savannah and had a terrible time finding an RV park. Biltmore had very few reviews and was a little further out of town than the others, however the few reviews we found on Google were positive.
We intended on staying only two nights, but we loved Savannah so much we wanted to explore one more day. The owner was able to accommodate us for a third night, we just had to move to a different spot. The morning we were supposed to move, our RV would not start (uh-oh). The owner was patient with us, and recommended a repair service who arrived within an hour and was able to diagnose our problem.
Biltmore was a convenient distance from downtown Savannah, Uber to and from the downtown Visitor Center ranged from $11 - $25 depending on the time of day. The office is located within a collectibles/antique shop and is ran by a daughter/mother team and if its the mother that answers the phone talk slowly and enunciate, she is a little hard of hearing.
The park itself is directly off of RT 17- so some road noise, especially if you are situated in the "overflow" lots which are directly next to the road. The "normal" plots are within some old growth trees and large flowering bushes. The neighborhood surrounding the park is quiet, however during rush hours, RT 17 backs up beyond the park, so be patient.
The park does not have Wifi but this is not the park to sit around it, it is a great launch site for Savannah exploration! The mother/daughter have all the info you need to know where to go including an IN PARK PICKUP for the local trolley tours. HOWEVER, the pickup can only be arranged for a day in advance, so plan accordingly.

***DO NOT ENTER VIA PERRYVILLE***
USE RT 173 NORTH ENTRANCE
The Perryville entrance will send you to a dead end.

We visited some family in the area for mothers day. Having been to Rockford a dozen times i never knew something this nice was available. We used Reserveamerica.com to get reservations however if space is available the front office can get you set up there too. There are bike trails that are well maintained and circle the park. There are dirt trails snaking throughout the interior and around the lake for long dog walks or off road biking. Sites are gravel and vary in size. There had been a lot of rain the previous few days and some sites may be saturated to the point a large RV may sink a bit. During the weekend the park packed out to the max so get those reservations done early!

Access is easy from major highways however the park's roads are in need of repair
Location provides any chain or service you can think of within a short drive from the park however the park is large enough you don't feel in a city.
Cleanliness is well maintained with campers for the most part leaving no trace and plenty of staff. Single stream recycling is available too!
Site quality is rough, even for a state park but if you're like us, sometimes we prefer camping to glamping.
Noise is low and mornings are filled with bird songs.
