Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on August 28, 2019The family has owned this place for 54 years. They have not done much for updates in many years. The bathrooms are always very clean but old. The showers are hot and the toilets flush.
The sites are not well defined but the place is rarely full from my experience. We were in a 30A pull through, very grassy. Close to the pool which while old, is maintained well.
His prices are a little high but there is not much to choose from in the area. This was the closest to Minnesota (for the State Fair) we could get. It is very quiet here despite proximity to train tracks and I-94.
They will escort you to your site and will even give you a ride in the golf cart to look at multiples if available for your stay.
We are only 31' and towing but had branches scrape the sides so if you are a new, shiny rig, you would want to consider that it will most likely happen.
My biggest complaint is that they only extend Good Sam discounts and even that is solely for active military or over 55.
I work remotely so connectivity is a must. I have dual coverage with AT&T and T-Mobile. AT&T was one bar while T-Mobile was OK.
This is an option for a nice quiet stay.

Great campground for families. Each site includes water and electric. Campground has a dump station. Sites are not private & are positioned close to your neighbors but when you have friendly neighbors it makes the experience that much more enjoyable! Great WI family campground. Pool and game room, and lots of beautiful tall evergreens.

We visited during the shoulder season so it we had the entire section across the road to ourselves. Very quiet except for the rain! They only take cash or check (no credit cards) so be prepared. Owner met us at 7p. Didn't use the facilities on the main campground.

Needed a spot for the night between Mackinaw and Bismarck. Owner answered promptly, had a spot for us with 50 amp and meet us at the gate to take us to our site. Site was a bit of slope front to back but we leveled it all out and spent the night. Electric and Water only with a dump on the way out if needed. A bit of a trick getting out in the morning but it worked. Did not use any of the facilities. There were several people at the park. Lots of trees, grass where we were at. No cell service at our site AT ALL and too many trees for Starlink.

DOES NOT TAKE CARDS, cash or check only
Owned by the same family for 52 years however it seems that is about as long as its been since it was last renovated or maintained. There is a pool, but you wont go in it, there is a bar and club house, but you wont go in it, and its surrounded by nature that you cant really get to. We stayed at a pull through spot situated across the street from the main park and our 33ft RV with Toad barely wriggled its way to the spot, larger RV's will have trouble. The site was grass and dirt. The 50 amp connection had no breaker and sites had no sewer. Thats not a problem for us however for $50 and no discounts available, the site should be pretty nice.
Access is about 10 minutes of 94 but the park is narrow and full of obstacles, both vehicles and low trees.
Location is nice, could hear a train but not too close.
Cleanliness needs help, specifically around the office and bar, sites were clear of any debris but dumpsters are inconveniently located
Site quality was not the worst but for the price it should be stellar.
Noise i could not say as there was a large thunderstorm during the majority of our overnight stay.

This is not a “RESORT”!
Our Pull-Through site required us to pull around/between 2 picnic tables and we truly were not in the campground. Instead we were across the street. There are no views of the River, especially not
pristine views, and I’m not Sure how much nature you can enjoy at the end of a subdivision. Thank goodness we only stayed for 12 hours( 1 night) in our travels south. It is not worth $65 a night for this site with electric / water. We have camped in over 40 states, and Wisconsin’s Twin Springs “resort😂” Campground was a huge disappointment. The host had to unlock the pigtail to offer the 50 amp, yet left cigarette butts, condiment wrappers and beer cans in our fire ring. Pass this campground up and drive a little further. This campground does not give Good Sam’s Discounts. The awesome description from the website is a bit misleading and exaggerated!😂
We stayed last minute and the owner was super nice and accommodating and very very welcoming. Beautiful campground with lots of trees and birds - orioles, robins all sorts of song birds. We would definitely go back if in the area. Thank you!
