I wish I could give this a 10! After our last horrible stay at the KOA in Ellensburg WA, I hesitated to book another KOA. I’m thrilled I took the chance. Y’all gotta stay here! I wish we had a few days to stay. They have:
-swimming pool
-human fuseball
-2 escape rooms
- restaurant & brewery
- catch and release pond
- cabins
- tiny homes
-beautiful wedding venue
-barn
-paddle boats
-phenomenal staff
- deluxe rv sites
-regular rv sites.
-dog park
-etc.
All of the RV sites are large and extremely well kept.
Go, go, go!!! Perfect for the whole family. Our so. Is getting married next year, and this would be the perfect spot!

She was on schedule for us and did not disappoint! It was fun watching the crowd anticipate her and cheer was fun.
Don’t do what we did and drive through the park with one stop at Old Faithful. Book a few days and enjoy the beauty of Yellowstone.

Ok, this is just neat! You can stand:sit/lay in 4 states at one time. There are also vendors surrounding the site.

Go and see it! You won’t regret it if you’re into history. Parts of this town seem to have “stood still”. Love visiting here!

If you’re a history buff like we are, then this definitely something you’ll enjoy. The museum was closed but we still enjoyed it.

Very nice, clean campground 20 minutes from Ft. Sumner. Each site has a covered picnic table which was nice (we were able to park our motorcycles under it and still use the picnic table). The view of the lake at sunset was gorgeous (wish I could add a picture here).
There are 2 sides, West & East. We booked a pull through, so we were on the East side. We had a garbage can at our site, but discovered that the dump station was on the West side, so we’d have to go backwards to dump.
Some sites are first come, first serve. We booked a reserved site online. It’s about 30 miles off of I-40, but this worked for the route we are taking.

This is strictly a “just need a place to hook up for the night” pit stop. Most of the small park is folks who live there. We pulled in, hooked up, spent the night and left. Dump station was clean. We had a pull through site. If we didn’t, we wouldn’t have been able to stay. $22 plus tax for the night was good.

Staff was very nice and accommodating. As with most campgrounds, the WiFi was not good so we wanted to use our own hot spot. It would not pick up well due to where we were in the park. The staff was very gracious and gave us a new site.
The campground is clean and everything (except the WiFi) worked well. It is a great place to park while you’re touring the area. Nice sized lots, but don’t expect much shade. :-). We had enough space to park our long rig, truck, and two motorcycles under a 10x10 canopy, plus a picnic table.
They’ve got a small store onsite and WalMart is very close by. Glad we stayed.

Campground was clean, host was very friendly and there were bunnies that were very friendly throughout the campground. Was not crowded so we had plenty of space to spread out. Dump station on site was clean. For $25/night, it’s hard to beat!

DO NOT STAY HERE!! I’m giving one star out of sympathy for the staff member who had to deal with irate campers such as myself.
At 1:00 am the power went out to the row of campsites that we were in. My husband uses a sleep machine and without electricity he could not sleep.
As myself and other campers stated ( repeatedly), we paid for a site WITH electricity.
The solution we were given was to move to another spot. No good because we booked it to stay one night.
The staff member gave us 2 managers numbers (I believe these were the owners), and there was no answer at either number. I called the KOA corporate office and although they agreed with me, there was nothing they could do other than sending an email asking them to call us. No dice; they haven’t called or even attempted to make this right.
Again, do NOT stay at this campground if you wish to get what you paid for.
