We stayed in an ADA site and, based on our qualification, the rate quoted includes a discount for disability. Victoria found lots of trails to hike on in and around the redwood groves. I was able to use an Ebike to get to meet up with her and witness the majesty of these trees.

No hoodups, but not needed for most of our stays. We get by fine for a few days. If traveling alone, I can get up to a week before dumping and refueling. We did notice it was difficult to find locations that allow for dumping wastes. It may be related to Covid 19 concerns.

Running late for a boon docking trip, I opted to spend the night in Palm Springs before heading on to the desert. It is a very compact facility with a lot of cars parked half in and and half out of the drive. I liked that the sites are bordered by tall hedges giving an impression of privacy despite the closeness of others. It was also nice to be able to bike a short distance to the main drag to satisfy a Starbucks urge prior heading out.

Spent a few days in the Joshua Tree Park area and scored a single night at Jumbo Rocks. You camp on a parallel section of asphalt adjacent to the roadway. It is close but not uncomfortable. We were near the end of the road so traffic was a bit less for us.

The area is beautiful and there are decent hikes. I was able to bike a bit.

There was no cell service, so in order to do some work, we had to exit the park for while.

We stayed one night here while exploring the area in a 25' motorhome. It is a very unique and interesting area with potential camping locations spread through out large rock formations. It is possible to park in fairly isolated locations but we noticed a fair number of vehicles driving through nearby. Overall, a very interesting location with scenic vistas.

Needed to vacate our house for a few days and stayed at this county park in Yucaipa. The sites are spread out in a hilly wooded area and generally peaceful. Many of the park facilities were closed due to Covid 19 restrictions but they were not an issue for us. It was a easy bike ride to shopping but on a busy four lane street with bike lanes.

Even though the park is only a few miles away, we would stay again if only for a change of scenery.

We visited this area specifically to see the dunes and get close to the ocean. I have difficulty walking on uneven surfaces and found it pretty hard to hike the paths through the dunes.

Most of the sites are well spaced apart but none are particularly private. As luck would have it, our site (38) was tucked into the dunes and, as such, was pretty sandy. Most, if not all, of the others seemed to be on more solid ground.

Small campground with limited sites for RVs. Our 25 foot motorhome fit fine in space 6. Close proximity to beautiful small lakes and busy tourist area. The campground was well maintained

We had no idea what to expect when we booked a night at this location but loved it. Some of sites were a bit close together but the location was fantastic, in and among Redwoods.

Victoria was able to hike several trails and I was able to take the ebike on a paved trail that runs for several miles along the adjacent creek.

We had no plans for the next night having initially planned to search out something new. However, this location was great. Even though our site was booked by someone else the following day, we were able to rent another.

PS, our motorhome is 25 feet long and there were several sites that could accommodate it. However, there are several that could not. If reserving a site make sure it is adequate for your equipment.

Victoria and I have fond memories of the town of Cambria located just a few miles from this campsite. We parked in town and walked the streets, doing a little shopping and having a good meal prior to venturing to the campground.

The campground itself is located on the opposite of Highway 1 from the ocean but access is easy under a highway overpass.

We walked the beach and enjoyed a beautiful sunset before spending what became our last night on a two week tour of campgrounds in the central and northern coast of California.

We had no cell service at the campsite but a short walk to the highway underpass by the beach yielded a couple of bars.

This RV park is literally in the shadow of Morro Rock. You can walk or ride your bike from the campground to the rock, adjacent public lands and most of community. The sites are flat and services are as advertised.

The downside is that the layout allows them to get just about as many tents, trailers and motorhomes in the campground as is possible. And, given the summer season, it was pretty full. I don't think that really bothered me since it was so easy to walk across the street to sand dunes and beach and it was an easy bike ride to shops, restaurants and, in my case, to a nearby Ace Hardware store for "motorhome" parts.
