Heading South from Ohio back to Atlanta and found this on the app.
Concrete pads and at least this area seems to be new. Full hookup — power, water, sewer — and a nice view of the lake.
Bathhouse seems to be clean and showers even have benches and a place to put shampoo and soap (why they all don’t is beyond me).
Would definitely stop here again.
Came in after hours so don’t really know the rate (around $30 I think).

As we drove around looking for a site (there were many to choose from), most were not large or level. Was able to find a semi-pull thru for our truck camper (site 41) with a nice view of the reservoir.
Long walk to to bathhouse so didn’t investigate it. But is supposed to have showers. There were also some vault toilets stationed around and some water spigots.
No hookups, no dump station.
Price was $25, but halved due to our National Park senior pass.

Passing through Nebraska heading East and South. Very happy to have found this place.
Large shade trees, plenty of room (not crowded on this date). Fair price and nice people.
Didn’t use facilities, so can’t comment.

The good: sites are nicely paved and fairly level. Dump station area is decent. Secluded away from the highway.
The bad: third time we’ve stayed here. No water the the sites. Bathhouse/restrooms absolutely filthy — apparently no maintenance. No one around to check is in and no provisions for walk-ins (even in April). So you have to use the internet Reservation System — which had a glitch and would not allow us to reserve an empty site we were sitting in get cell service. Last time there, was harassed by enforcement officer for “not paying” even though I had a receipt. She didn’t want to review the receipt until much later in the process. Not the friendliest place, to say the least!
Stayed there because I needed a spot close to Marion Ohio. If I had other choices, would not return.

Driving across Kansas is not an exciting experience. Even more challenging with high winds and temps in the 90’s.
But this overnighter helped rejuvenate us. Easy to find, about 6 miles north of I-70. A very pleasant, helpful, and witty woman in the registration office (didn’t catch her name, but loved her Southern Alabama accent). She put us in a pull-through next to the lake. Not tremendously level, but we managed.
Power and water hookup. Dump station near the registration office. Nice picnic table (composite and not an old wooden one).
Only downside was no shade trees at our site or nearby. But fine for overnight.
Didn’t use the shower — it was quite a walk from our site.
Annual senior pass yielded a nice discount ($10 instead of $20) so a very good value.

Other than the fact it was a bear to find (Apple Maps led us astray by several miles), this is an excellent park. Sites are well laid out, level, and smooth gravel. Most have trees between for a little privacy.
Can’t say there was much of a view, but we were only there for an overnighter while traveling East.
The gate attendant waived the $8 per vehicle access charge (which would have made it rather expensive), so that was appreciated.

Pros:
Concrete level pads
Good space between sites
Some sites have nice views of ponds
Full hookups
Close to I-25
Cons:
Roads are rough
Constant interstate noise (no problem inside a 4-season camper, but very noticeable outside)
$41 site fee + $9 park fee = $50 for a state park
Good for an overnighter on the way to Wyoming. Wouldn’t want to stay long though.
