First, an explanation - we were part of an Airstream rally, so I have no idea what our nightly rate actually was. I’m absolutely sure it wasn’t $0.

As mentioned in other reviews, this is not an RV resort and is in need of some TLC. First, the good. The campground is extremely convenient to Bardstown and all of the distilleries that are the whole reason you are going to Bardstown. It is quiet and just the right distance from town. Not too close and not too far. The sites are mostly grass, but reasonably level. They do use the arrangement where your street side with utilities faces your neighbor’s street side and utilities. That leaves a very generous space between you and your other neighbor’s curb side entrance and awning space. The grounds were tidy and well-lit.

The down side is you are sharing a single water spigot with a (leaky in our case) splitter. Water pressure was OK, but not great. The bathrooms and showers were clean and functional, but need (quoting Led Zeppelin here) a whole lotta love. As otherwise mentioned here, good enough for Bardstown.

We didn’t even stop to see about a refund. The “Inn” attached to the RV park looked like something from a crime drama. Seriously sketchy looking people, cars with no license plates and a general dingy appearance said, “Keep going.” So we kept going.

Reminded us of “Dirty Dancing,” and was problably great when it was new. However, it is not aging gracefully and is in dire need of updating and maintenance. We can echo other comments on the road, which appears to have been recently used as an artillery range target. The facilities were clean, but very, very tired. We passed on several sites that were rutted so badly, they were unusable. The cover on our electrical post was falling off, but the electrical, water and sewer hookups worked fine. Maybe they need to change their business model or get outside investore, but definitely need a serious infucion of cash to upgrade to 21st century standards. We were hoping for better, and it is hard to recommend when a great State Park is less than 5 miles away.

Note: the $0 fee is because we received a free membership when we purchased our camper. I think it is around $600/yr for a membership.

A little gem in the heart of Kansas. We found a great site with lots of shade, full h/u and actual USABLE wi-fi! Very reasonable cost. The bathrooms are reasonably clean and the plce seems to be well maintained. There are big rig sites towards the rear, but the sites in front have more trees.there seem to be a few full timers here, but it is very quiet. Close to town and all the attractions - nothing is more than 10 minutes away. All sites are gravel and we had a real downpour overnight, so we got a lot of mud splatter - out only very minor issue.

We decided to stay over to check out the Eisenhower museum and home, but found lots of other interesting things in Abilene. Don’t miss the Seeleye Mansion or the RHV Do It Best hardware store in downtown. Also Joe Snuffy’s is a fantastic little place for breakfast or lunch.

A great little park all pull-through, full hookup sites and cute cabins for friends w/o an RV. Right on the Blanco River with great access. There are multiple fire pits and “beaches” for lazy river time with a beverage of your choice. A screened pavilion is available as well, and I understand they have live music on the weekends. 50 & 30A full hookups and all sites are pretty level concrete. Close to Blanco and convenient to Fredericksburg and Johnson City. The only downsides are it is a tad pricey and they are working on improving the facilities during the day. It will be fantastic when complete, but it is a bit noisy now. Will definitely stay again.

Very well maintained park with quite a few pull through sites. Scenic and quiet with lots of amenities for campers to enjoy. Easy access to I-20 and Tyler. We were in Tyler for an event and didn’t have time to sufficiently explore, but enjoyed what we did soo. We will definitely stay there again.

Stopped on our way from KY to CO. The campground was super clean with lots of shady, full h/u sites. The sites were a little close, but not unreasonable. Bathrooms and showers were clean and bright. There is a small playground for the kids and a pond with a couple of Canada Geese and their fledglings. Close to anything you’d need. Did not notice any road noise, despite proximity to a main road. I’d definitely staay again.

This is obviously a favorite of the locals, as the campground was packed even during the middle of the week. Sites were paved, level and ours even had full h/u! Each site had a picnic table and fire ring/grill and they were spaced W I D E apart. Th area is very hilly, so it was a bit tricky backing into this particular site to keep from fitting trees, signposts and keep from falling off the other side of the narrow road, but… we got it done. This is a lakefront park on the Barkley side of The Land Between the Lakes, so plenty of water activities and facilities. It is densely wooded with plenty of trails and well over a hundred RV sites. Bathrooms were clean and everything was well-maintained. The staff were very courteous and helpful.

The campground is about half an hour from downtown Paducah, so there are plenty of things to see and do there, including the National Quilt Museum, if you are so interested. Vibrant downtown area with grest places to eat, shop and meander.

The campground was extremely clean and tidy. The staff was super friendly and helpful. It is Wyoming, so expect wide-open spaces and wind. Well-maintained, and would definitely stay there again.

Potential here, but needs some serious TLC. Mix and match with tent campers, who all seemed tobe cyclists making their way across Missouri on the Katy Trail, which runs right through the campground. We had to select a site based on the ability to pull in without hitting trees or deep ruts. Bathrooms were fairly clean, but needed some maintenance. Check in/out seems to be completely on the honor system, as we never saw anyone during the process and had to call a cell number. The road to get into the campground is not to be found on either Google or Apple maps, adn you must follow the directions in an email (left at the 4-way stop sign and left at the car wash), leading to a very narrow road through a run-down neighborhood.
