We stopped at the office and paid $7 to use the dump station, which is straight in from the office. In and out in minutes!

We live in the area and prefer to travel north/south on 287 vs I-25. This $10 dump is well worth it. There is a pay station at the building near the dump, it takes credit cards, spits out a receipt. Access and interior roads are easy for even big rigs.

I called ahead and they confirmed they have $20 dry camping, first come first served. We figured this time of year it shouldn't be a problem, and it wasn't. Perfect for what we needed. Just a big parking lot, but rimmed with pine trees and deer. Road noise died down at night. Good proximity to Ruidoso. It's too bad it's not maintained - lots of trash around the edge of the parking lot and huge weeds. Wild horses in the area, we didn't see any here but lots of evidence of them passing through this parking lot - watch your step.

We passed through traveling east to west and staying off interstates. Called ahead and they said yes overnight is fine for one night. We stayed on the truck entrance side, HVAC provided white noise. Quiet until trucks started rolling in in the morning.

Traveling through west Texas we rerouted slightly to stop here. So glad we did! It's a corner parking lot, hard to believe full hookups! One large fifth wheel was there, and looks like it's been there awhile though we didn't see any activity during our stay. A few local dog walkers passed by on their way to the park. Perfect pit stop, very quiet at night.

As another reviewer pointed out, if you follow the address listed your gps will take you to a place across the street. Continue down Intersection Road until it turns to gravel, turn right and the dumps are at end of the road beside the treatment plant. Easy off/on the interstate. Great stop!

Easy access from I35, easy in and out. Regular fee $10, $7.50 with Good Sam. We didn't have our card with us, and they looked up our account by our phone number. Minnesota nice!

40 MH+jeep. If you don't have a 4x4 or ATV you'll be in the minority, so manage your expectations accordingly. Lots of noise and dust especially on the weekend and of course some people are more respectful than others with their speed. Same with music and generator noise. We were lucky to get a spot right along the river, so that drowned out a lot of the noise. Road was either dust or mud, depending on the weather. Not a lot of boondocking options in this area, but it's only about 15 minutes from Ouray and lots of hiking options so it was a good spot for us. We had 1 bar 1x with Verizon at this site. There's a park near the visitor center where you can fill up water jugs.

We arrived a few days after a snowstorm, so the road off 9 had some snow but was old asphalt underneath and we were comfortable pulling our 20 foot trailer in. We stopped at the first spot on the left with a fire pit, dirt was mostly frozen. We chose our spot carefully and rearranged some rocks because sun beating on the frozen dirt was turning into mud we didn't want to get stuck in. Taking the road to the left and up the hill looked a little too muddy for this trip, but lots of spaces and options in better road/weather conditions. Very quiet this time of year and perfect for exploring Zion. Our GPS wanted us to go very off-road, we used 37.25033, -112.76046 off of 9 approaching from Mount Carmel to access the road we camped on.

We rolled in around 8p and there were already 5 other RVs and campers, plus later we realized people sleeping in cars and a Uhaul. Ended up being a dozen or so by morning. Convenient to the interstate, but not very quiet so it's a tradeoff. Street sweeper cleaned the parking lot at some point in the middle of the night. The parking lot lights are the brightest we've seen, looked like daytime in the middle of the night but adds to the feeling of security. We would stay here again.
